It really helps you to learn about the origin and distribution of one of the indigenous group of people rather I would like to call it a ethnic community of the southern part of Nepal.

A small but lovely place, situated in Tharu village, for gaining information about history of Tharus and their culture. This museum has preserved utensils, lifesize statues, etc. The museum's' entrance is decorated with colorful handprints.

Only one museum in sauraha that offers visitors with so much accurate informations about the history, culture and lifestyle of ethnic tharu people. It has many tools and instruments which were tharu people used to use in ancient time.
