The place is religiously renowned for hindu goddess called "thani mai".You can get the top view of bandipur bazzar and different places around from the top of the hill which is half an hour climb by foot from the base.The top of the hill is very windy.

This is the must go spot when you are in Bandipur. It’s just thirty minute walk from the town.It gives you the bird eye view from the top. On the clear weather one can have the beautiful view of the himalayan’s range. It has Thani Mai temple.

Great view of the surrounding. If sky is clear, then get Himalayan Rang view also. And have a small temple here.

The temple atop the hill is a great place to observe sunrise and sunset. Around half an hour's hike from the bandipur bazaar, the place is a must-visit in bandipur.

Walking here from Bandipur Bazar takes about ½ an hour but the view up there is beautiful. Would recommend to observe Sunrise and Sunset
