Chairs are the worst a restaurant can have. Biryanis are the signature dish but is never consistent. It always tastes different every time you visit them.
Probably the best Indian Restaurant in town. The butter chicken is superbly rich and delicious. The special pre order platter with rice is really something a must try. This needs to be pre ordered with a Rs.1000 advance deposit. The price for this platter is Rs.1100 plus SC and tax per person. A minimum of six people are required order this meal.
Staff needs better training and needs to be attentive.
Best Indian food in Kathmandu! Great service especially as we last came as a group of 25. Lots of different spaces to accommodate any type group
Owned by Mumbaikar couple..if you missing an authentic Indian menu, it's the right place. Just be a lil prepared before going as it's not moderately expensive. But an awesome seating at different floor. Very very friendly staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. Love this place. Highly recommended.
We found this place by chance, having travelled from England to reach Everest Base Camp and decided to visit before returning to the UK.
The staff prepped the food fresh, having sampled the lamb curry and vegetarian biryani with sides. What a fabulous meal, great value and quality and superb service from the team.
Amazing venue, beautifully decorated and fantastic atmosphere - would love to return with group in 2018 and share the experience.
A credit to the community of Patan and people who visit this eatery.
I loved the butter chicken and naan from this place. Biryani however is overrated, and doesn't taste good at all. A tad expensive. A good ambiance.
The best place to have the Briyani in town. I loved the atmosphere and ambiance of this place. This place feels like the bollywood fan place with all the movies posters n all. If you are looking to have a goof time and enjoy the typical Indian food flavor, you definitely need to check this place out.
Second visit was also great and it was during the election day and was finally able to get the discount of 10% even though Rajeev gandi is not the prime Minister đđ
We went there just because we had heard a lot about it. But, this place is overrated. Food is not really good, and very expensive for what you get. With the price you are paying here, you can find much better restaurants in Jhamsikhel area, like Bricks or Le Trio. I highly don't suggest this place.
Excellent flavors for both food and drink. Attentive and friendly owners from Mumbai. Nice outdoor seating with trees in the courtyard. I've been back multiple times.
This is a complete Indian cuisine restaurant run by Tasneem. You should try Biryani once, which is fantastic. All foods seems amazing. Ambiance is also fantastic. There is no parking space-- be ready to manage parking nearby.
Nice menu! Can be disappointing with portions and servings most of the times. They might serve you only bones, no meat, in mutton dishes! Staff unapologetic!
If you looking for Authentic & Delicious Biryani in Kathmandu âTasneemâs Kingâs Kitchenâ is THE ONLY PLACE. Very professional and fast service. The ambience is also good. You will love it.
Great food. The biryanis are great and the butter chicken is totally worth trying.
A wide selection of biryanis. The portions are appropriate and the flavors are good. Good good customer service as well.
Authentic, flavorful, and the cooks seem to really take care of the food. Fresh, and delicious! Must try in Kathmandu.
Fantastic food, incredible service and lovely decor. One of the best places to eat in Nepal.
After reading some of the reviews here it appears some locals have a problem with the owner of the restaurant. Don't believe them.
In my experience the food was great, very tasty and well prepared. Yes there is a somewhat limited menu but it is still great.
As I was leaving I had a brief chat with the lady owner and she's clearly passionate about providing quality food and hearing how laborious it is to create the meals it appears good value too
