Beautiful food, super tasty, very cheap! Tara and family are one of a kind! Could not recommend this restaurant enough!! 5 star!

Great little family-run restaurant. Best momos I've had and a really good fried rice for about $4 US.

Wonderful experience of a kind woman cooking lunch for me while minding her young children. Delicious food, reasonable wait, additional charges already included in modest prices.

Amazing food, really great prices too. Everything we have tried has been cooked perfectly and is fresh. Very impressive - now our favourite spot in Pokhara!

The most delicious food in Pokhara! The hostess is a beautiful person and an incredible chef! We ate at Tara's more than any other place over our long stay in Lakeside and Tara's was consistently stunning! Sit down, order some drinks & give the family the time to prepare your meals freshly! It really annoyed us seeing other tourists acting angry that they hadn't received their meals fast enough.it's because it's all MADE FRESHLY FOR YOU right there by a loving mother and her husband! The chocolate momos are a must!

Table service a little slow but food was excellent, so I would happily return and recommend.

One of our favorite place in Pokhara. The food is splendid and authentic. The family running this small restaurant is also really nice. Try their Lunch Special!

Very nice staff, but the food is OK, not more than that (even the chocolate Momo's).

Honestly, that was one of the best diners of my life! Tara's cheese momos are so delicious that sometimes I see them in my dreams! :-D I would copy and paste this restaurant in my city to have it here every day! Moreover, it was affordable: I paid around 350 npr for a dish + lassi + delicious milk tea!

Very slow service (ordered my food, went to buy something, came back and still had to wait) but food makes up for it. Very flavourful food and interesting vegetarian dishes - the coconut and long beans rice. Skip dishes that feature bread like the bruschetta - it was soft instead of crispy and just a plain vessel for toppings.

Awesome chill place, you wait a bit but it's worth it. Some special vegetarian plates with coconut and chocolate Momo's with an amazing chocolate mix!

This is a really good vegetarian Nepali restaurant. Good place to sit in the backyard with the sun for a lunch. Awesome food at the real local price. The place is a bit hidden from the main street, but go have a look ;) ! Not necessary the best place for dinner with the cold at night. The owner are really nice people. The make sure how spicy I want my meal.
