Tal Barahi is a Hindu temple, situated in the middle of phewa lake. One needs to avail boat tickets as this is the only means of getting to the temple. It is usually crowded with devotees like all Hindu temples.
There are pigeon feed available and one can feed the pigeon while basking in the cool breeze from the lake and staying connected to God. A must visit if you are in Pokhara.

Tiny but very beautiful PAGODA temple located in Fewa lake of Pokhara. To visit this lovely place, we have to purchase a ticket for boating which is maintained by Boating Association of Fewa Lake.

Boating will give you a peace of mind as this entire lake is surrounded by mountains and full of water.

Hundreds of tourists are coming here daily to enjoy the beautiful place and its surroundings.

If you want a spiritual retreat during your visit to Pokhara, it is good to pay homage to Tal Barahi Temple. It is small pagoda-style temple dedicated to Lord Tal Barahi. It is an ancient heritage made of stone and thatched-roof. The surreal beauty of location and amazing grandeurs of Few Lake lures the heart of every traveler. As the temple lies amidst of Fewa Lake, the only way to visit the temple is via boat. Tal Barahi is one of spectacular pilgrimage sites in Nepal where numerous Hindus travel to worship deity.

One of the beautiful wonder of God's creation .
A temple is standing tall with blessings of God where there is a line of people to meet the holy highness.
Myself took a boat reach there too many times and used to feel like peace and relaxed the rest of the day boating around the lake.
Unique place of God you must visits

Take a boat to the temple - it takes about 15 minutes - and see the ornate temple! There are a few boating options so pick the one that's best for your group. We chose to take a small boat and for a first hand look at the fish in the lake. The view of the foothills of the Himalayas is also pretty amazing.

In Nepali language, Tal refers to the Lake and Barahi is the name of Deity. Literally it is the Deity who lives in Lake. The interesting part of Tal Barahi is that the glorious beautiful temple of goddess is located in the middle of the lake. Many people just come and take a ride to visit the deity. Devotee take a small boat ride to get to the temple. The temple is usually busy in the morning time and during festival season. There are lots of small shops that sell flower and worshipping materials and gift shops.
It's a beautiful temple in the middle of Phewa lake. Clean and beautiful around the temple.

Renting a boat for an hour on Lake Phewa should give you enough time to pay a quick visit to this temple. The temple is built on a small island in the middle of the lake. Lots of small and large boats are trying to do the same so finding an opening / 'parking spot' for your boat is part of the adventure. On the island a couple of store sell souvenirs, beyond which you would have to navigate among selfie sticks and group photos to get to the small temple.

Its a goddess temple in the middle of the the lake. You can get there by rowing boat. The view of the lake is beautiful from the small island. The temple itself is small but beautiful with a lot of pigeon on the island and fishes around the island.
