Both during day and night you can see the whole Pokhara city from the balcony. Specially at night all the starry lights from the city makes up a once in a lifetime view with the phewa lake
This place doesn’t deserve a single star. Worst hospitality, worst food, expensive without any service. I am not recommend anyone here.
The lodge is positioned well, though you have to climb a lot to reach the viewpoint, and people who have ailing knees are sure to miss the best view. But most importantly it is not possessed well. The rooms are big with three beds, but amazingly the owners charging one third of the hotel bill extra for occupancy of third person which is pretty ridiculous way of squeezing money from the guests. Hot water supply in the room are awful with almost no supply in daytime. Foods are of low quality and not at all at par with the price tags.Charging INR 30 for one slice of bread!.Omlettes are served made of only one egg costing INR 80.This is abominable practice indeed and by any means not matches the tradition of hospitality of Nepal. The worst thing is the behaviour of the foul-mouthed lady in charge of the hotel. She is smelling money eveywhere and shows a rabid urge to squeeze money from the guests by any means. Charges almost 50% of the taxi fares extra as commission just for calling taxis from pokhara. Sarangkot is a lovely place for those who love a recluse in the lap of Himalayas, but your cherished stay must get soured by the treatment of the owners of the lodge. Avoid this lodge to have a peaceful stay in Sarangkot.
Best hotel in moderate pricing with incredible view of Pokhara city, Fewa Lake and Annapurna Range
the resort has great view of pokhara city, phewa lake and Annapunna pick. i am sure you will love this place for its view. Moreover, it is 5 minutes walking distance from sun rise view point. The host family is hospitable and helpful. Though food is not excellent in dinning but price is considerably very high. I think you will consider for the view and over all service.
Best veiw ever.but food is not good
The living experience here was way below my expectation. No complain about the place and the view, the view from the room and the balcony is great.
There was no power in the room and they did electrical wiring after the room was allocated for me. Still no power in the bathroom, only a light in the room was fixed. No complimentary water in the room and you have to purchase.
The cooking was great. Foods are tasty. You can book taxi, trekking or paragliding from the property.
I had a great day up here. The family who owned the place were extremely kind and friendly. I was travelling by myself, but within no time I was enjoying a family meal and entertainment - Nepal Idol.
My Nepali has improved thanks to Suman and I hope I repaid the favour in English skills.
The views were unseasonally spectacular so I was give a very pleasant wake up call to get out and enjoy them while they lasted - which want long!
They also took all of the hassle out of sorting out paragliding.
Thank you and I'll tell my friends about this great place.
wether group or individual booking, this place provides very reasonable price, they also serve good food.
I had an amazing stay at super view. Not much to do there b/c you have to go to bed early for poonhill early in the morning but this hotel got HOT shower!!!! Thought it was about 5-10 and it started to turn cold but still HOT shower! It was a clean room with a nice view. you need to pay for wifi but it is only about 100 NPR for a day which isn't too bad. food is good too and cheap.
The superview was being renovated when we went there. It sits way up in Sarankot and we were there to see the amazing sunrise and the paraglide back down to Pokhara. The owner and his wife offered us the choice to go to another guest house but they were so friendly we decided to stay. It is a basic hotel but the views from the balcony are priceless and it is about 15 mins to the top of the hill where many gather for the sunrise and the views of the mountains. We loved it there.
