Hindu Temple, but now destroyed by earthquake
Unfortunately only the base of the temple has remained. It is made of four large, receding pedestals with a stairway on the sourthern side. There are four pairs of animals and men guarding the entrance. The images of Shiva and Uma, which were once enshrined in the temple, are now attached to a short wall. The inscription says that in 1667 King Jagatprakash Malla instituted a guthi to worship the shrine. - Kathmandu Valley Inventory
