Good variety of things and service
Great place for your daily needs.
Its a nicer place to shop than B'bteni. Smallerless crowded and helpful staff.
Good for groceries and it is less crowded that's why shopping is pleasurable.
Everything was fine until we bought a kidney beans.
Seriously the bean was hard as rock. We cooked it for hours but beans,wow.. The consistent level(hats off).
Kindly do not compromise with the quality .
Dang you just lose one customer(a family).
If you are looking quite place for shopping than it is right place for you. You can find some products which you can not find in Bhatbhateni. Prices a bit higher.
Friendlier staff than Bhatbhateni. Is not too crowded either so payment is easier without long lines. Single floor so safe during earthquakes. Grocery items only. However, you might not have as much choices as Bhatbhateni.
Good selection of groceries and other FMCG products at competitive price. Need to increase product line and change inside and outside aesthetic to the present.
One of the best department stores in Kathmandu. There is less waiting time at the cash counter which is a convenient feature. Best place to get groceries. Better than Bhatbhateni for sure.
A less crowded and slightly better organized alternative to poorly managed and organized Bhay Bhateni Supermarket chain
Yes, Saleways should not stop customers from taking their bags into stores. This causes inconvenience to customer. As in every business, Customer is always RIGHT. If customer mentions a problem, then the store should sort it out, rather than just blame on company policy. I hope the store looks into this matter. My bonus card is 5M04058
Dear Management,
We shop at Saleways Department, Maharajgunj because it's convenient. However, this issue of not allowing customers to take their bags inside store and requesting us to leave our bags in locker but no responsibility taken is causing much inconvenience to shoppers. We bring our bags so we can load our shopping goods into it. If we leave it at locker then we have to go there again and come back and stock up. This is completely a nonsense for shoppers. One should consider the convenience for shoppers. Also, not all customers who shop at Saleways are shop lifters. If you force shoppers to leave their bags outside the store then you are implying that we are all shop lifters. I talked with the duty manager today but he was adamant that we leave our bags outside.
We will boycott your stores till you can solve this matter.
One of the better department stores in Kathmandu. There is less waiting time at the cash counter which is a convenient feature.
For KTM it is the most complete and most organised supermarket.
It has pretty much everything. Best part is, it has Nina and Hager meats, which are the best in Nepal, I think. Prices are slightly higher than Bhat Bateni though.
I am a regular customer of the Saleways. The store really need to see the quality aspect of the store. Back-office operation is really dirty. Saleways Management, check the store carefully.
Huge range of item are available here and staff are as friendly. Great shopping expereince one can get.
One roof shopping. Reasonable price.
The best supermarket in Kathmandu. Clean, with a good sort of products, it has a generator to keep the refrigerators running during light outages. You can buy here without worries.
Has good selection of Groceries. Store is divided into two sections. And at the entrance there is a cafe which is also split into two. Its better than Big Mart but I would go to the nearest Bhatbhateni Supermarket over Saleways. Good parking space though.
Nice selection of meats, cheese and bread. Western taste buds can be satisfied at Saleways.
