Very very poor customer service and no regard for the customer. The guy running this shop was very very rude. He rejected outright to stitch a daura suruwal for my 2 year old nephew. Found a smaller shop with much better customer service outside the entrance to Rastriya Daura Suruwal Tailors! AVOID THEM IF YOU ARE A RETAIL CUSTOMER. It seems that these guys only serve bulk buyers.

I made 3 daura suruwal and one coat. On one of the daura suruwal it had sewing errors. It was supposed to be worn for once in a life time special event. I went back to the store to explain the oversight. The old aging owner was understanding but he said his son did the stitching and I should come back the next day to explain the error and a new one will be made. I went back the next morning with a positive note but I was approached by the owners son with a very rude behavior. Please be aware of the owners son who does the clothes tailoring .. he is full of himself and a very rude person .. the daura suruwal I tailored had errors in it and I went to tell them but he was aggressive towards me and shouted at me. He said I was accusing him by trying to find faults on his work and he will not work on it. He said he didn't want to waste his time on it as he has many other orders to fill. All I wanted was a simple correction to the daura suruwal that I was tailoring with them for the wedding. They were rude and said that I either take it or leave it !! He said he did that because he wanted to save their clothing material and ultimately the production cost at his store. The clothes I wanted was a one time wedding dress and something to be remembered. It seems like for them customer need isn't their priority. The tailored daura suruwal was supposed to be special to me. The old owner seemed like he understood but his son was very very rude. I will never go to this place. If you value your time please be aware of this place. Please go to a place where customers needs are met and if you do not want to adjust to an unfitting made clothes if you value what you wear. Very unprofessional. Shame on them for tarnishing their ancestors skills. I will pay more and make a better daura suruwal somewhere else than become subjected to their rude behavior and unprofessional tailoring. Shame on them.
