Can be a wonderful place for those who havent trekked Annapurna Circuit. The view is pretty amazing over here. I would recommend everyone to be here once in a lifetime ;)

If you have just finished the Annapurna Circuit (AC) I really wouldn't bother with this. There are hordes of people heading up this trail every morning for the sunrise view. It was a system shock for me after 16 days of peace and quiet on the AC. Gives you a good idea of how busy the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek is. 50 Rupee entrance fee was ridiculous as was the ticket everyone is given as a receipt which ends up as trash.

Nice place but very busy. Would certainly not recommend it if you have already done the circuit where the views are much better. Good view of the fishtail.

Nice view at sunrise. Tea house at the top offers hot drinks at high prices. Take warm clothes with you, it's cold up there. Cost 50 rupees to enter.

The perfect sunrise can be seen from here . As you have to reach at the top af height 3210m by trekking. You can even see Mt. Dhaulagiri from here and Mt.Annapurna too.

You can find the perfect sunrise here and the Tea at that height is awsome.

Great place to observe the Himalayan range of Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Macchapuchhre, Mt.Himchuli and others.. In the morning time, you can go up to the tower and see one of the world’s best sunrise! The mountains seems as they are standing against fire showing there beauty and strength! Great view, satisfaction, peace of mind and pleasure for own.

Very nice sunrise, worth waking up at 4.30 am and climbing stairs for one hour. You can buy hot tea on the top, which you will love considering how cold it is

It would be great if you enjoy trekking but If you want to go for destination, it doesn't have that much attraction compared to amount of energy you traded off to get there.

Magnificent. You'll embark on a very early morning hike, about an hour long, to get to the top of this hill. Get there before sunrise. The sky and the mountains dazzles at dawn as the virgin light pierces through the night sky and bounces off the silvery mountaintops. There's a small makeshift teashop. Customary to grab a drink there.

Poon Hill(3210m) is one of the place of tourists attractions. Most of the people will go there to see sunshine and moutain range (also called peak 13). Because there are 13 distinguishable peaks above 5000 m

A once in a lifetime experience. We climbed Poon Hill early in the morning and were fortunate enough to be able to get panoramic views of the Himalayas in the Annapurna region as it was a clear day. The climb from Ghorepani takes about an hour but it's worth it to catch the sunrise, bring a hat!

Long hike to get up to the small town nearby, where you will stay the night. After a 45 min hike before sunset, you get to the top of the hill for an impressive view of the Annapurna mountains. This is one of the things that made our trip worth the hard work!

We stayed the night at Ghorepani and went there for the sunrise. The sky was clear, and the view was breathtaking. It was October and yet it was cold, so the hot tea served there was much needed.

Beautiful, walked from Ghandruk for 7 or so hours to get to Poon hill, stayed the night and then saw the sunrise from poon hill. incredibly stunning and worth visiting - I would highly recommend the whole area

Go early in the morning to see the beautiful sunrise from the top of the Poon hill. Watching the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri massifs kissing the first rays of the day is a very mesmerizing sight.

You have to wake up at 4:30am if you are in Ghorepani and plan to go the next day to watch sunrise at Poonhill, it deserves to try it, maybe you are lucky enough to view some of the peaks at this sightseeing. When i went most of the time was clouded with tiny spaces of lights where we could view some peaks. Is good to check the weather before going maybe is raining in the morning and is a 1h avg walk distance, beware before the entrance you`ll have to pay 50rs per person ticket. If i didn´t brought my wallet that day i would miss this spot.

I could not make it to the peak. I could reach only the half way through. But the little that I have experienced from that part during sunrise was amazing. The long walk on the slippery and steeping stairs was quite challenging.

Amazing experience got to experience the sunrise and it was awesome would recommend any one who wishes to do a hiking holiday get yourself out to Nepal not to challenging a walk but worth all the energy you put in.
