This is the age of Information and Communication. The world has now become a global village. The power of information and communication need not be over emphasized. Nepal is no exception to this rapid growth in the communication sector. The development of media in Nepal has been quite encouraging and the demand of academically and practically educated qualified media professionals has increased. Despite this there is still a lack of media professionals.
In this Scenario, Polygon College has been established with a scientific curriculum giving due consideration to both the theoretical and practical aspects. We are fully committed to provide quality education by laying strong emphasis on practical aspects. In this endeavor students will be linked with collaborating media houses so that students will realize their full potential once they complete their studies. The college will also prepare itself to provide practical education with its own resources. We assure all concerned that we will make concerted efforts to maintain a balance between theory and practical education. The need for fresh and new approach has been felt by all and Polygon college is committed to take up this pressing challenge. It is our firm conviction that the time has now arrived to deal more with updated knowledge and skills which justifies our future goal.
