I'm a regular customer but I'm a Nepali. Their service level never the same. Have a foreigner friend or got to be on a not so crowded day???? You will be warmly greeted.

Food is okay tho' except the behavior for Nepali customers.

Overpriced menu, not the quality of food that you get under that price. Customer service is bad. They dont care about customers. And food is out of taste. Many other resturant provide way better food than that. Never gonna go to that place again.

Not very welcoming. Menu is excellent but overpriced. Had to ask several times if they are serving any food or not. They didn’t know what was ordered. Overall, nice place to hang out but need lot of patience to overcome the staff, not professional at all.

Veg Thakai set is quite good, but do not order non veg if the place is not busy. They normally serve old meat. There are sometimes that I have actually regreted ordering meat and I love meat. But during busy season the meat is fresh and so are foods.

Pretty good Thakali food. Not quite sure if the food is as good as it used to be, although I did go during lunch instead of the more popular dinner time.

Service was just okay. They got a couple of things from our order wrong.

5 star Thakali food with 1 star services. Great Thali with spicy pickles, kudos to the chef but don't expect too much from the waiters. Barely any attentions, tea was served before dessert because they forgot about it.

Thakali kitchen serves real Thakali food at a fair price. It's away from the busy lakeside Rd and has a relaxing atmosphere. Best dal bath I had in a long time.
