Pokhara is an interesting city on a big lake. If you can see to the other side of it though the pollution and haze you will be lucky.
I managed to get some good pic's after the afternoon thunder storm came over and cleared the air.
Their are plenty of opportunities to get out on the water in hire canoes.
    A very colourful site.

It's not polluted as Kathmandu. They have a short walking street to shopping. It's also have a big lake to see sunset or go to bars, clubs. You should try grilled fish, the delicious food.

Probably the best scene among cities in Nepal. The bars and restaurants by the Lake are quite reasonably priced as well!! I would recommend this place.

Touristic place on the side of Fewa lake. Nice view of Fewa lake. Lots of Hotels guest houses and resorts for accommodation. Lots of souvenir shops in the area to buy some good gift for yourself and the loving one. Nice place to hang around while in Pokhara. Nice view of Annapurna range and Fishtail mountain.

Lakeside is a nice place because of beautiful nature. Lake is the most important thing for tourism and water fulfilment .we can see views of mountains , people paragliding and so on. There are many tourist friendly places where hospitality comes naturally . Food is organic in the hotels and restaurants . Most lively place in Nepal .. There are dance bars disco and clubs so , night life is totally fun.

So many hawkers. Everyone sees tourists as walking atm's. It has a nice view but it's hard to see with so many people tugging on your shirt to get you to buy something or give them money.

Where water blends with mountains, it offers a breathtaking view. It's a wonderful place with lots of activities like boat riding and Kayaking in Phewa lake. On quiet morning you can do some jogging or simply take a walk in the lakeside with a magnificent view to accompany you. You can find plenty of good restaurants on the lakeside which will offer you to pamper your tummy in a serene ambience.

Pokhara Lakeside one of the most beautiful places in the world. I'd you visit Nepal and missed to visit Pokhara, your trip to Nepal is incomplete. God has blessed Pokhara with all natural beauty in this small city in the valley of Fishtail Mountain.

A very beautiful and picturesque view, to anyone who's looking for one. I recommend taking your own boat out on the lake, since it gives you a bit more time and freedom with what to do. Kayaking is fun, but not the cheapest thing you could do.
If you're interested in seeing sights that are situated around the lake, then you could try for the world peace pagoda as well. The only pinch being that the boats don't operate early in the morning, or late in the evening, so you won't be able to view the sunrise or sunset from the Pagoda.
Take your camera, you'll need it.

A walk by the lake in the evening was really refreshing after a long journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara. The lakeside was full of shops of artifacts and traditional clothes and trekking gear. Tourists were roaming around. Soft music from different restaurants were only making the atmosphere more lovely and enticing. Loved the walk.
Lakeside has also got a lot of hotels/ guesthouses/ hostels from different ranges.
If one has explored Lakeside, he has explored almost half of the Pokhara city.

Wonderful place to stay in Nepal, the lakeside area has loads of good restaurants, bars, shops selling local crafts and places to stay. The setting is beautiful with so many activities on your door step from trekking to paragliding, bike hire, horse trekking, zip wire. Plenty to do or just relax in the beautiful surroundings. Plus the locals couldn't be more friendly
