Winter is the best time for hiking here.

Reaching to the top & its awesome. We will all forget those tiring roads.
It is like around 12km from godawari.
Road is not so easy as it looks.
Many birds you will find on the road itself during morning time.
I will recommend you to go to the top early morning and get down at around 9 am you will find most of the birds alongside the road. Road is quiet slippery you have to take caution while driving.
Its cold around there this is why put on proper or warm dress with you. Roads are not black topped. Its pebbles on the road be prepared to tackle.
Visit with friends otherwise you will feel scared in the jungle if you are weak hearted.
Downhill cycling is the best adventure that can be enjoyed here.
If you want to go to top without any Hassel visiting this place in summer is recommended. Otherwise this place is also covered with snow quiet and often.

Great place to see Himalayas. There is an army barrack, a huge tower, a small open temple on this peak. However, people can go to visit. Also good route for trekking. Half-day out is okay. If really cold weather and it rains, then this place may have some snowfall.

It was a memorable experience of mine. Phulchowki hill is amazing and suitable place to observe wonderful views. Moreover, we can view mountains as well as Kathmandu valley from there.

A cool place. The highest point of Kathmandu village. You can have a nice view of Kathmandu Valley from here. You can have a perfect hike experience here.
