It's a tourist friendly restaurant with nice coffee, staff, and English menus. I think the food ranges from meteoquer to good depending on what you order.

Nice place to chill away from Thamel madness. Staff are friendly and helpful. Thumbs up for the decor.

Great place to chill in the morning. Breakfast options for the (ever increasing) vegan community are limited. Luckily the staff were very accommodating and obliging. The managed to cook us up a dairy free veggie wrap (see photo) and the rustic homemade hash browns (more akin to sauteed potato). The only slight qualm one would have, being as one is a coffee connoisseur, is that the espresso coffee served was not up to scratch, considering the high standards of other similar establishments.

I was infinitely glad that I found this endearing nook of a place when walking the streets of Kathmandu - hooked and drawn in by a bit of reggae music. Very relaxing a low key little hideaway for when you've had enough hustle and bustle of Thamel.
The eclectic decorations and tree-house like ambience makes for the perfect home away from home, with excellent drinks and surprisingly delicious food. The staff was incredibly friendly and the environment seemed to draw lovely individuals as well. All in all, I was glad to find somewhere to regroup and get some office work done without having to retreat all the way back to my hotel room.

Lovely atmosphere and the food there is great. They also have playboard games which is nice to kill time while waiting for food.

I really dig this place. Like all the wooden furniture and there are various spots to sit alone and do your thing. Food and drinks are good too. I like the music but sometimes it is a hit and miss- trance music or rap really is not a good choice when you want to chill out, considering how nice the decor is. When they play reggae or old 70s rock n roll the place is wicked.

Little expensive, but foods are nice, cozy place to stay, it would be better if staff can respect the customers time and hurry up in bringing menu, food, bill when asked. Slow service and waiting really gets on my nerves.

Honestly not sure what the fuss is about. It’s over priced and below the quality you can easily get elsewhere. The seating area and chilled music are nice, but this is more of a hangout place than a restaurant for the hungry. Top tip: if you like momos, don’t get them from here - there’s a place that makes the fresh in the courtyard below and it’s cheaper too!

PhatKath use to be in a different location in Thamel, more towards the north. Now it has remodelled and shifted more toward the center with a much larger seating capacity and cozy feel to it. You enter through an alleyway, decorated with masks and climb up the stairs. The bar is the first thing you notice, and will be greeted by staff. Staff are friendly and responsive. You can seat yourself according to your liking or can ask for assistance. They have indoor and outdoor seatings, I personally prefer the outdoors. Winters is a different story. The menu is diverse, ranging from the prized Manange momos to French crepes. No food should go without a drink here, be it any hour of day. You can also apt to play chess or endulge in their choice of table games.
    Overall, a very good experience.

This place is a gem, and I kept returning here whenever I had a chance! It's a short walk from the bustling center of Thamel, and its atmosphere is a wonderful contrast to the typically busy and unsettling pace of Thamel. Here, there is a very relaxed vibe, great reggae-style beats, a carefully crafted atmosphere, and an amazing staff. Come here a few times!

If you're searching a hideaway in the centre of Kathmandu this place offers what you need. Chillout, relax and have a coffee, a beer or something to eat. Everything will be fine.

Definitely the best hostel in Pokhara!! And Part of the reason why I loved pokhara. Hostel was Clean and spacious. Menu is great and one of the best Masala teas in the area. Has a very cool common area, garden to enjoy the sun and indoors with a pool table as well. Owner and staff are the best! Very friendly and helpful at all times. Gives cooking classes as well :)) definitely recommend.
