The most organically hip, grassroots, coffeeshop in Thamel. Great coffee too!!! With each coffee purchase (maybe the art and clothing as well) a percentage goes to helping kids at a school. Go in, checknit out, its totally underground!! The owners are super friendly!! Also, there is a cute typewriter set up in the corner if you desire to type messages on. But what is even better is that if you bring a good book you can exchange it in their library for a free coffee.

Best momos I’ve had the entire month I’ve been in Nepal, the owner was extremely friendly and even kept the cafe open to feed me more momos! They have a culture wall and an old type writer you can write a nice note or poem that he puts up on the wall! I will be back :D

It's a wonderful and quiet place to be in the busy markets of Thamel. But do expect to see quite a few people because even though the café may be empty when you arrive, it'll probably get packed by the time you leave. The food is awesome and so is their coffee. And every time you order a drink, you'd be contributing to the education of underprivileged children. So do take the time to visit the place.

Really excellent coffee and very friendly, casual atmosphere. We had some Momo and black bean noodles here and they were pretty banging. Black bean noodles are especially good.
The staff are really lovely, and speak fluent English (if that's helpful to you).
Also they support Snow Yak Foundation which is a great charity.
    Highly recommended

I was looking for a place for fast WiFi for work and ended up at this cosy cafe. It has a desk and chair workspace and another sofa area for you to chill with friends.

The owner and the staff were both super friendly. I had a wonderful time there. The owner even specially made a dish without cheese for me because I am a vegan.

It’s a lovely place if you are looking for somewhere to chill at this busy and dusty city.

Fantastic coffee and cosy atmosphere. The place keeps things simple and does it well. A great place to hide away from the madness on the streets outside.

    10/10 would coffee again.

This cafe is hidden on jp road. There is a small A board thata saya coffee and books. It is basically underground but once you reach to the cafe, It's so clean and bright. The coffee is really good. I enjoyed their oreo frappuccino a lot. The team is very friendly and helpful. Cafe has good internet connection. They have a small selection of good too. I had tried the ramen bowl. It was spicy but perfect. They support for education to upper dolpa which is a great thing. You do not find this kind of place around thamel so you should check it out.

A cozy new underground cafe off of the streets of Thamel. The wifi is good, plenty of seating despite the small space, nice drinks, and friendly staff there to make sure you're chilling and comfortable! All in all, a good place to bring your laptop and work for a few hours.

This is the cafe to go to in Thamel. FAST WIFI is a huge plus, but also the staff is incredibly kind. They are all friends who run the cafe and are willing to go above and beyond to serve you. Also, they have a really great book selection if you are looking to have a coffee or two and read.

Reasonable for the taste! Love the interiors and the book section. I hope they fix phone signal for NTC users soon.
