  The rejuvenated Palpa Durbar Museum is another structure that Tansen can pride itself with. It is believed to be the palace of ancient rulers and Rana Prime ministers. Destructed during Maoist turmoil during 2007-08, it was renovated back in 2010, keeping it's been old and original design. This place has been a hub for national and international tourists arriving at Tansen, Palpa and has an extreme potential for being developed at a premium tourist destination. With it's exquisetely large area, it has served as a processing and storage site for local and national level elections since five years too. It is completely operated under Department of Archaeology, Government of Nepal
