Ate here twice! Great food and drinks! the Malai kofta was incredible. Good value for money! Cakes are overpriced for quality however

An up market eatery with a gentle jazzy international atmosphere where European style breakfasts are served at a smooth and unforced pace by untrained easy going waiters with a penchant for slowly ruining your morning wake up with unnecessary interruptions or distractions.
The breakfast promises a little taste of home but disappoints especially when it comes to the bread or meat products : too little a portion or as with the unpalatable sweet bread a strange after taste that leaves one yearning for a good hearty meal again.
However this cafe environment is a haven from the street outside this excellently designed and superbly presented space which emanates a international "cool".
Main meals will probably reflect the mediocre chefing skill the city has generally but that's debatable. Would I eat here again ..yes but not breakfast which was a disappointment.

What a beautiful soothing place to have your meals. Located quite centrally in Thamel, this cafe has soft soothing music playing which adds to its vibe. Ordered Simple breakfast which came with cut watermelon, 2 pieces of good bread, butter and jam and 2eggs any style. Must say, bread was definitely way better than other places I've had it. Highly recommend

I feel very disappointed when I treated like I'm not like a loyal customer even I've been visited this restaurant so many times. Maybe because of tourist season in Nepal. For you, I say, don't go alone and never accept seat nearby the wall. It smells so awful that like a sewer channel. It overrides most of the good things which I loved so much such as fish and Chips, or another fish menu. Anyway, good luck.

Cozy place!! Food was average though. I wouldn't recommend the kebab though. Steak was bit overcooked for medium rare. Jambalaya was pretty good though. Decent for hanging out.

One of the good restaurant in Thamel with good ambiance, specially at night. Good place to talk and drink. Foods are not the best, but no matter what you order, you will not make a mistake.Best restaurant with best wine in town. Highly recommended to visit as have live music every Wednesday and Saturday.

Easily the best meal we had in Thamel.

My girlfriend and I were playing it safe with food to avoid diarrhea on a 6-day Himalayan hike. We selected this place for it's menu and were surprised by the rather fancy courtyard and open BBQ.

Thamel is clearly geared towards tourists and their money. Don't expect any 'authentic' cuisine. However, New Orleans had nice, well prepared dishes and I would return.

Worst experience ever. The waiters don’t even know how to talk with the customers. The food was good & the place was also nice but the service what we got there was worst. Please get some respect to customers!!!

There is only one Cajun item on the menu, the jambalaya. However, everything else- this might be the world's most eclectic menu- looked pretty good!

Probably the best restaurant we stumbled upon on our visit to Kathmandu, the staff are very polite and helpful, service is fast and with a smile. The menu isn't as extensive as some, but that's a good thing, what they do have is done so very well that we went twice! The house wine I had either! There's inside and outside options, a warm evening it's nice to eat outside by candlelight.

New Orleans has always been my favourite place to it. I recently went there during dashain. Because of the festival season, our waiter was drunk, he had to confirm our order three times. Thank fully the food was amazing, he didn't forget any of our order except my friend's cappuccino which wasn't so good. People come here for the food, the ambience, excellent eastern-western fusion vibe. I am glad that New Orleans hasn't lost it charm in all these years. I will visit again.

It is one of the finest restaurant in the heart of thamel, Kathmandu. That is the must go place when you are in Kathmandu, as myself always make sure to visit there, and enjoy their delicious and hygienic food with great ambiance, and of course THE NEW ORLEANS vibe music.

Didn't eat here but came for a couple of drinks one evening, had great fun. The atmosphere is great, the "Nepalese fusion music" was great! Beer and cocktails great, friendly staff and can pay by card. WiFi was a bit naff though.

Average food, 23 percent extra charge. Prices without 10 percent service charge and without 13 percent vat. Prepare to pay around 300 rupees more than planned

The best thing to compliment a sandwich are fries. You wouldn't want to eat the fries here. The chicken items are great. I hate the fries. Fries.

Avoid. Cocktails not made properly. Bloody Mary was sweet?! Skipped our entre and messed up one of the orders for our main. Only go if you want decent wifi.
