CHULO (चुलो) is a Nepali word which in English means a stove or a various device with different names in modern days which we use for cooking food. NEPALI CHULO(नेपाली चुलो)is the derived authenticity of foods from the origin of the Nepalese history of cooking where we serve our guests with a typical Nepali & Newari food with traditional Nepali Cultural dance and folk music including various other cultural shows which represents more than 100 distinct ethnic groups of Nepal from different communities. We started NEPALI CHULO on 14thJune 2004 A.D (2061 Jesth 32,Monday) for the first time from Durbarmarg, a historic palace built by Ranas. Couple of years after establishment we shifted to a new building at Lazimpath which is also a 200 years old historic palace built by Rana Regime

A great place to dinespecially if u have foriegn gueststhey get to dine the finest nepali thalis and dishes and there's this live nepali folk dance from all over nepal.everyone regardless of age will enjoy dining here..the cost is a bit expensive though.

This place is awesome !!! We went to visit our parents to back home and one of our best friend told us we should try this place. Foods were great, service was excellent and culture program was great for us. Restaurant was not fully finished coz of last year earth quick damaged the building and manager told us restaurant should be fully function within one month. We will definitely visit next time when we travel to Nepal.
