Just back from a trek around the Annapurnas (sept 12-24) with Nepal Eco Adenture. Great time with my guide Ramesh Jirel during 12 days and a friendly porter. I was a solo traveler and asked for a bespoke itinerary including Tilicho Lake and also Upper Mustang as well as a hike around Jomsom. Very professional team and agency offering flexibility (I had to postpone my trip foreseen in 2022 for medical reason and there was no issue with my initial deposit). The boss is Chhatra Karki and is very responsive to emails, reliable also in terns of flights and transfers including airport pickup. I highly recommend this agency and will definitely come back. Special thank you to Ramesh Jirel for taking me to this wonderful trip.

I recently used NEA during a trek to Mera Peak. I highly recommend them as a trekking company. The company is very efficient and communication with them was very good and prompt prior to and after the trip. The booking process was very straightforward and easy. The company provided us with Down Jacket, sleeping bag and walking poles for the trek which were all of excellent quality.
The team of guide and porters were fantastic (Dendi Sherpa, Mingmar Sherpa and Jangbu Sherpa), they were always willing to assist and support throughout the trip and always went above and beyond.
Again I highly recommend the company for your trekking expeditions in Nepal

I am on my last day of a 10 day Annapurna Base Camp Trek that I booked with Nepal Eco Adventure. It was my dream to hike in and see the Himalaya's and I can safely say my dream has come true! This is in large part thanks to my amazing guide Sange who was just fantastic throughout the whole trek. He was a constant positive, friendly presence throughout who provided me with whatever help I needed. I couldn't have done it without him and I am just so grateful he has been my guide and is now a great friend too 🙂 the organisation and planning of Nepal Eco Adventure leading up to the trek was brilliant. I had lots of questions because I am travelling solo and also have never hiked anywhere as grand as the Himalaya's but Chhatra was very patient with me and answered all my questions and provided all the reassurance I needed. I liked that you were provided with a down sleeping bag, jacket and walking poles that I used a lot on the trek and I just felt really comfortable and safe throughout. I have had the best time so thank-you so much to Sange and Chhatra at Nepal Eco Adventure for making this most amazing trip happen for me - I am forever grateful 🙏

My husband and I just finished the Everest Panorama Trek with Nepal Eco Adventures and could not be more happy with our experience and our choice in company. Ram (our guide) was knowledgeable, super friendly, and did everything to make our trip special. Mikman (our porter) was excellent. On our last day we all had lunch at Mikman's home with his family which was an amazing experience. We had friends using a different company at the same time and they were jealous of all the special touches that were included for us. It was really perfect. We will be doing another trek next year with Nepal Eco Adventure.
    Thank you!

My friend and I was our first time in the east and in Nepal especially, we traveled with ECO adventures to the Annapurna circuit trek. Our guide Bijey and our Porter Raz were amazing (I will let you decide - read below) !

Bijey was very friendly, very professional, he explained everything concerning the people who live in the area, the culture, the different animals in the area of the Annapurna area especially birds which he always carries a bird-book. During the trek he showed much caring, responsibility to our health and danger, each day he insisted that we gather and talk about the next day's plan. He told us exactly what kind of tools we need and from where we get them, he even accompanied us to buy trekking tools in fair price places, he checked all of our tools beforehand, in the cold nights, he always managed to equip us with extra blankets, he respected our wishes to have a private bathroom in our teahouse rooms and always tried to provide this facility. He carried always a bag filled with medicine, he checked our saturation daily… we felt completely in safe hand.

Raz was an amazing porter who helped us a lot during our trek not only carrying our bags, but also with the difficult times of the trek, he always reached us with the wisdom of Buddhism, he was easy-to-talk-to and a real friend. We had a blast time with him. He showed much respect to our wishes and he showed a lot of knowldge.

Chihtra (The manager of ECO adventure) is a very thoughtful man who made sure we have the best experience in trekking and in Kathmandu and in Pokhara. He was always in contact with our guide and with us, making sure we had the best trip in Nepal. Also, he offered to exchange money with us for the best exchange rate we could find in other local exchange shops. In addition, he provided us with down jackets and hiking sticks (which we return after the trek), nice souvenirs of a huge duffle bag, hat and T-shirt.

To sum it up, I really recommend ECO adventure to everyone who is looking to focus on the fun and beauty of Nepal and its trekking to worry less about the other stuff. I would definitely book another trekking tour with ECO Adventures.

I had ‘the trek of a lifetime’! (Mount Everest Basecamp Trek). Many thanks to Chattra of Nepal Eco Tours for organizing and my guide (Santaman) who really made it a trip without any concerns. It was amazing and well organized. Although it is still a big adventure to trek to Everest Basecamp it is so nice that nearly everything was taken care of and I just had to so listen and follow the advice of my guide. Obviously you can find information online about how to reach basecamp, how to keep yourself warm and what to do to prevent altitude sickness, but it is so helpful to have someone with who tells you what to do. Next to that it’s juist an enrichment for your trek to have a guide who tells you more about Nepal, the mountains and the people. It enabled me to enjoy the magnificent views more. I must say that during trek I also likes the fact that there was room to have fun, some singing to keep the spirits up, fool around but also for silence and just enjoying nature and the journey.

Big thanks for this unique experience!

We’re not long back from completing the Annapurna Circuit. It was amazing! I cannot recommend this enough. The scenery changes everyday, sometimes very dramatically, and it is always unbelievable.

Nepal Eco Adventures were brilliant from start to finish. Chhakra was quickly in touch with us after booking to answer any questions we had in advance and was always very prompt with his responses and very helpful. Our guide Ramesh and porter Kumar were amazing. Very friendly, funny, chatty, and knowledgeable. We had a lot of questions for them along the way and they were always happy to fill us in. And they went out their way regularly to make our trek as enjoyable as possible (e.g. on a couple of occasions, our porter went ahead to try and get us the best room he could at our next spot, allowing us to take a different, more challenging route, affording us more time to enjoy the spectacular views). They fresh fruit they provided each night after dinner was a nice touch too.

Nepal Eco Adventure was the most affordable company we found online for the Annapurna Circuit. Despite being considerably cheaper than many other companies, our breakfast, lunch and dinner was included too; where no meals included in the price with other competitors. It was a simple choice to make for us and we were both really happy.

Also, when we got back to Kathmandu, we also booked to do the Everest Flight Tour through Nepal Eco Adventure. It was unreal. Definitely do it. You won’t regret it. Check the pictures!

12 Gokyo Renjo Trek: Private group 4 people.
Faultless experience - amazing adventure with a great guide (Subarna)

We contacted multiple companies via email and chose Eco adventure as Chhatra was the most professional, communicative and willing to accommodate the changes / flexibility we required in our booking.
The entire booking process was smooth, we had every one of our many questions answered in full and in a timely manner.

The trek itself was amazing with stunning views, every other review will tell you this.

I can't compliment our guide Subarna enough and will be requesting him specifically next time we go.
He's extremely experienced, knowledgeable and fun to hang out with after trekking all day, it was just like having another mate in the group.
He looked after all of our needs offered plenty of good advise and had our safety as his top priority the entire time.
We were lucky enough to spend time with him in Kathmandu after the trek and it was a sad moment when we had to leave.

We went early March and beat most the crowds the only draw back being we were unable to complete the Renjo pass due to heavy snow and the lake was completely covered so we didn't get to see the water at all.

As an alternative we decided to do a scenic heli flight from Gokyo over Cho La, base camp then back down to Tengboche which we all agreed was the highlight of the trek and let us see far more than we would have if we just returned via the same track.
The flight booking was organized really well only the night before and with no monetary deposit, making payment once we got back to Kathmandu.

100% would not hesitate to book through Eco adventures again.

There's a saturation of advice out there but my top 3 trekking tips:

    1. Have a Buff / Neck scarf - best piece of clothing I had especially in the dusty lower areas

    2. Don't start your days walk wearing your warmest clothes, start in a shirt, you will warm up as soon you start moving

    3. Bring your own pillow case - a nice luxury item.
