When I asked the price of a set of kamasutra decks, they told me 195 rupees. I walk out and they change the price to 150, which is the price everybody else is selling. I really hate this random price scheme. Not very good business practice.
This was my favorite place to do souvenir shopping on Thamel mainly because they had fine quality, variety and offered a competitive pricing. The person in the shop Sudip was very helpful in help picking up the right souvenirs (be it fridge magnets, prayer flags , coffee table book or anything else). I will surely recommend this place to anyone. Best part was that they also accepted card payments which is an added plus
Good books collection, fiction and non-fiction both, at fair prices. Used and new books are available. I even found an unopened Paul Thereoux book, which I have been looking for a long time. There is also a fair selection of books about Nepal, Nepal trekking and travel, spirituality, etc.
