Mountain Gateway Hotel in Kathmandu

  My sister and I stayed at this hotel couple of months back. Nice looking big reception and lounge area. Both Owner was nice and polite.
  Staffs were friendly. But, not so helpful as they do look a bunch of young teenagers.
  They put us in room no. 102 first floor, at cost of 2,500 nepali rupees which is $ 24 dollars.
  We Love the bed, it was very comfortable and soft. Towels were okay.
  Bathroom need to be updated. Paint peeling off the wall, sink water was yellow and dirty. Toilet flush was the same again dirty. Cold tap water didnt wok i nearly burn myself as it's only very hot water coming. Imagine you dont have a shower in the morning and you have to attend a very important meeting. Nightmare !!
  Let's talk about breakfast hehe absolutely horrible. This cook has no sense of compassion to feed his guests or give them a good coffee?. It took them 1 hour to bring my American breakfast but shortly after realised they brought someone else breakfast for me. Then, had to wait another 30 minutes for breakfast. Ahh finely breakfast is here but they missed the bowl of fruits which included with the price. Coffee was cold, scrambled egg were cold, shogi wet toastOMG. Had to check out went to the next door cafe had a perfect breakfast and mo-mo.
  
  I find it Very sad these people are only after travelers money, staffs don't care at all. I think owner should take his responsibility. He should check with his own eyes what goes behind the curtain. Disappointment.
  
  Guest is God?? If you start treating all your guest and travellers at least like human beingthat will do.

  I stayed there twice. The manager and staff are really helpful.
  
  - Economical Stay in Thamel, provided everything costly in Nepal they offer very less rates.
  - Neat and clean, beds, toilets, floor every corner of the room is clean.
  - Well behaved and helpful staff, call them for any kind of issue and they will be there in no time.
  - Free breakfast, don't have to worry about looking for restaurant when your running late in morning
  - All basic amenities - like TV, ac, geyser, laptop table.

  Good place stay. It's basically an apartment not a hotel. You only get breakfast here. Very reasonable price accommodation
