  Mong is known as Mong La or Mong Dara. Mong is not on the Everest Base Camp trail as mentioned on Google, but on the Gokyo Lake Trail.
  The trail splits up after Sanasa and it is a small trail leading to the junction with the Khumjung-Mong trail.
  There is a very clean restaurant in Mong, Hill Top, construction completely eco with traditional carved stone, aluminum roof structure. No trees were cut. Cooking is done on gas and kerosene. Here too no wood is used.
  From spring 2013 there will be clean and comfortable rooms available.
