The pathology here and their lab testing is very sub-standard despite being a so called private hospital. I went there for my general blood tests. The results they produced were totally wrong. I lost sleep for 3 nights because of their blunder. I went to a different diagnostic center to have my results verified; they did the same test and found that Metro hospital had made serious error in my testing. Bottom line: If you have an tests done at this hospital, please do get a cross-check somewhere, it appears this place is run by inexperienced technicians who cannot properly read a blood sample to accurately perform even basic tests. They did refund me my money though (which earned them 1 star in the rating)

This hospital is very bad , they took entry charge day by day in the doctor's appointment the charge is 520 its so expansive and another thing they sell useless plaster at the pharmacy, this plaster doesn't work at least 1 day. when i went at this hospital to change plaster then they took charge again, When fault was of hospital.

I spent 24h at this hospital after coming down from gosaikunda lake. The staff was really great and caring. They took care of everything for the insurance and provided me with everything I needed for a fast recovery. Perfect, friendly and caring service.

It is very difficult to get appointment of Dr. Jyoti Bhattarai. You have to wait for 1-2 hours to meet the doctor even if you arrive on the scheduled time. and doctor sees you for 2-3 minutes. Toilet is hell. It is always crowded. I do not recommend this place for urgent appointment.

Last week I spent one night in hospital after being evacuated from the EBC trek with altitude sickness. An ambulance from the hospital meet me at the helipad, The nurse in the ambulance stayed with me throughout all procedures at the hospital. I saw a doctor within 10 minutes I then saw a senior consultant with in 15 minutes. From there I had an ECG test an x-ray and blood samples done all within the hour. Dedicated personnel were assigned to me to make all international insurance arrangements. All staff spoke very good English. I was admitted to the international ward of the hospital. I had my own room and bathroom, they were not quite the standard of a private hospital in New Zealand but the cleanliness and amenities were certainly adequate. The staff were attentive, prompt and professional and I was not at all concerned being admitted to this local hospital,allbeit private. If you have travel insurance I would highly recommend you request this particular hospital.

I spent a few days at Metro Kathmandu after coming down with altitude sickness while trekking in the mountains and being taken to hospital by helicopter. Everyone there was so lovely to me and made me feel comfortable and well taken care of when I was so far from home. I am very grateful for the professional and caring doctors, nurses, and staff members who looked after me during my stay, asked me how I felt, helped coordinate my insurance from overseas, and checked in with me even after I left. Thank you Metro Kathmandu!

Went there to get USG done. Wait time was 30 minutes. Doc was good and experienced.
Hospital is located conveniently in Chakrapath intersection towards police station. Previously it was Atithi Party palace, so they have parking space but limited.
Canteen is small and building needs to maintain upkeep and focus on hygiene management.response / report this review -

What a disgusting service where patient should pay Rs. 550 for a rude counselling of Dr. Jyoti Bhattarai and for a very short counseling period of maximum 3/4 minutes.

Oh what a mess. Even though Dr. Jyoti Bhattarai might be good but hospital is totally mess. Nothing in order. Staffs are rude. They don’t even care to note your number right. Seriously, management needs to improve a lot. Toilet is too dirty. Nothing in order.

My first experience was worse in the farmacy and as we saw the 3d building but in reality its more cozy crowdy. Even I don't have my own treatment here with the oral review from them. Its on centrre and almost great

Dr Jyoti bhattarai is my family doc and has been visiting her for more than 5 years as well as Dr Arun kunwar. Technically, the hospital is good but the management stuff is real pain. The staffs and receptionists are not well responsive and mannered too. Everytime, when i call for an appointment, they always mention the list is always full. This needs to be improved. Otherwise my experience with doctors are good till now.

I have been waiting for more then 1hr for Dr. Sabina Bhattarai every time her excuse is she stuck in traffic jam. I had to cancel my important meeting for my oppintment and their first priority is whom she knows very well, who came late than us.

Doctor appointment for my child when I called the lady who answer the she was so rude not helpful at all she didn't listen to me just she talk Talk talk and cut the phone u must hire a qualified staff or u should give her proper training no one deserved that kind of service in private hospital never visit that place in my life and not recommend to anyoneresponse / report this review -
