This hospital used to be quite good back then but has been mismanaged these days. The waiting hours are quite long. And I met a old person who said "The doctors leave without treating their paitients and they are reffed to the next ones. If we have taken appointment with a particular doctor we should meet them not someone else."

    For You ..
Some quick Info from their website.

Existing health service facilities in Nepal are still insufficient to meet the growing need of reliable health care. This is why a significant number of patients are going to different hospitals of neighboring countries like India and Thailand for treatment. Ultimately this causes drainage of huge amount of foreign exchange from Nepal and great inconvenience to patients and their relatives. Urgent need for establishment of well equipped and reliable health care centre of international standard has always been felt.

will tell to do the whole test for almost all patient. strategy for earning from the fools. case: where one citamol will do, will ask for test which will cost 5000 plus. It was the same last time and again for another. Suggestion: if ask for expensive tests, leave and runaway and go to other good hospital.

One of the worst hospital I’ve ever been. Doctors, they’re good at work but for how long? Poor management of human resource and health equipment. Nurse means demons here, they can’t reflect the symbol of ‘The lady with the lamp’. They never know whether they are dealing with patients or visitors. MNH can’t lead with these rascals into a successful institution. It is still operating as a pure Business Organization.
They don’t know how to place the real man in a real place at a real time. You can see an unhealthy security guard in front of an ICU/CCU. Putting mask & pretend that they are not drunk.
    थुइक्क व्यवस्थापन पक्षहरू हो, मान्छेले २५ वर्ष काम गरेपछि त नाम पो कमाउने हो यसरी बदनाम कमाउनको लागि किन अग्रसर हुन्छौ?

Last week, I was with my son for the check up of ENT. I went there in their OPD which was fully packed(lot of clients are waiting). As I am waiting to get my son to checkup but suddenly he cried that he don't want to stay. And I asked to the lady that are calling the clients to checkup that my son is crying so please let us go to checkup. But she refused and tell that take your son out and come back after a hour. Actually when we go there she told us before half hr its takes 1 hr. And I request her but she denied and tell me that a lot of client is waiting so go out and come back after an hour. we request a lot but she denied. If its a adult we can wait even two hours but its a child not even a two years so what should I do on that situation ? Finally she denied and I decide not to stay there and i asked her to get the bill and I return the bill and I get the refund and they cut the RS 10 why is that ? Your staff is rude as well please trained them how to handle the customer. A worst experience that I have ever had in Medicare Hospital . So please please Trained your staff how to interact to the client and trained them how handle in the pressure. As she is working in the hospitality sector. And also you are also working in the same field. NEED TRAINING TO YOUR STAFF

Worst receptionist and managements. I have called to ask if one of the doctor is available or not she said she will be there in 15 min. I rushed through traffic and reached there after 1 hours and everyone says she is on leave. I called again ask her she was not even bother, what a careless people leave with no shame.

Doctors are never on time. We were told the doctor will come at 3. We knew the Nepali timing so we came at 4 and guess what surprise suprise the doctor still had not come. I had to close the shop and come to get my wife, who was having a very hard time checked. Just so you know it wasn’t the first hence “the review”

in short this hospital makes patient mentally, physically and financially unhealthy and weak, and the treatment from SOME well known doctors look like they need extra money even you have been treated from private ward. when a patient enter this hospital seeks how to drain money from him, doesnt matter if all extra tests r necessary or not, hate it

A team of young, enthusiastic and dedicated doctors working at Medicare Nepal Nursing Home felt the necessity to grow up a much better health centre with modern technology and better facilities. Their enthusiasm was supported by another group of medical and non - medical persons resulting the established of well a equipped and modern health care centre of an international standard- Medicare National Hospital & Research Centre Ltd. with 30 beds in 1997 and later on the beds were increased to 75 beds including ICU/CCU and close Psychiatric ward which was the first in private sector in the country. Now hospital has indoor capacity of 100 beds and more than 50 consultant having different specialties.

    Worst hospital
They charge much more than required but service very bad.
How can a charge of single bed be 1800?
I would recommend model, kmc, helping hand, Korea Nepal friendship hospital.
This is not hospital it is a business to rob people, simply stupid enough to fool everyone of us.

worst hospital . they charge fee of private hospital but their service is worst than that of government hospital . Nurses are disrespectful and rude they have to be reminded of everything and instead of attending patients they will be found in their nursing counter gossiping and eating all the time .My grandmother was admitted there and when i asked one nurse about her blood pressure and sugar level this nurse left without answering .Doctors are also lazy they never come on time . I had worst experience in that hospital all they care is about money not patient's well being and service ,i strongly recommend whoever is viewing this review not to take their loved ones in this horrific so called hospital but just another money earning business

Very bad experience with management n staff. Hospital is very filthy and they don't have dust bin to throw stuff. Nursing staff are also not friendly. We have to remind them their duty otherwise they will be busy in nursing station ( chatting and gossiping) and will come very late even if we remind there duty.Very bad experience never ever suggest to flip there. And worst of all, pharmacy will sell medication without price tags on it so they will charge for prescription as they wish.
