The price and breakfast in this place are by far the best in the region. Does not take away (and I know it's not the hotels fault) that there is constant music coming from somewhere in the area. This music does not stop, not at night, never. It was horrible, also the room was extremely hot even during nighttime.
The staff were kind and inviting and the nearby restaurants okay, but I did get foodpoisoning somewhere.

3 stars only because like all places in nepal they will try and rip you off price wise if your white. Friendly service, comfortable beds. Decent food

Amazing place! The owner is a friendly and genuinely helpful man!! He helped me a lot with visa, bus and other arrangements. The place is clean and neat, you get soap, a roll of toilet paper and you can order a breakfast..just keep in mind that it's noisy everywhere in lumbini, so ask for a room which faces the garden.

Budget place to stay. Very friendly and helpfull staff.
Spacious room. Nice breakfast on rooftop terrace. Close to entry Peace Park.
Hot/warm shower did not work. They gave me a bucket of hot water. If the shower had worked it would have been 4*

Clean, cheap and comfortable. The owner, his family and the staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. The owner even gave me a lift to the airport himself. The overall accommodations were basic, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

The place is located on the main street in lumbhini. Room is bright, clean, cosy and spacious. Blanket is enough to keep us warm even there is no heater. Electric plug and hot water works well.
The owner Jupiter was a kind and helpful man. Great place to stay if you are looking for a no frill place. There is a balcony area where you can chill and watch the world by.
There are lots of convenient stores and eateries next to and opposite the hotel. 5mins walk to the bus stop.
For the price we paid, its very good value for money.

Fair price for basic room. Attached bathroom has no full wall to the neighbors. So funny to hear and smell things together.

It is hard to get here. As you may have to switch busses lots of times. The temple place is ok. All together in one area. So you will do your tour in half day. It is not expensive but only tourist or buddist may be councious about not trowing trash in every place. Sad to see how much ignorance spoils a beatiful place

Lumbini Village Lodge is a great place to stay in Lumbini. It's well placed next to all the sights, which are themselves incredible, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it to any looking to stay in Lumbini.

Namaste!!! It's always a pleasure to come to lumbini village lodge after a long bus journey from Katmandou! We are treated like family and our hosts are our ever so special brothers & sisters. we came two years running to spend time with them in their homely lodge. We had been staying in the same lovely bedroom as last year with lots of good memories here. I recommend you this well situated guesthouse where you can also book bus, plane, tickets, plan a pilgrimage with our guests guidance. A great place to stay in! Thanks to jupiter who makes our stay so special always !

Decent cheep place for 400 Rupien per room. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are tidy and nice. No Toiletpaper, limited hot water. Free WiFi.

Very nice and perfectly located hotel. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. They can arrange tours, rental bikes, bus tickets and many more.

Jupiter, the owner is an amazing person, willing to help. It is strongly advisable to arrange with him a tour in order to undertand both buddist's philosophy and the sacred place Lumbini is.

It was so interesting to visit Lumbini -Buda's birthplace-, because you can feel really good energy and know nearly the budism reverence. Better more if you stay in this lodge, where you have the needs satisfied professionaly, get precious knowledge about Buda's life and teachings and the context where he lived. Thank you Jupiter!

I'm being generous with one star. The staff are totally jaded about dealing with travellers. They only care about your dollar. I had my money stolen from my room and they tried to turn it around and blame me. Then insisted I leave for causing trouble when I reported it to the police and they searched the premises. Very poor standard and extremely poor customer service . Avoid. There are many other decent options in the area.
