Make your way into a small alley and upstairs to this restaurant. It is superb! A western looking place serving Italian food. All safe in terms of hygiene, I’ve been going here over 8 years and take a group I lead. The food is awesome, in particular the lasagne! About $10-15 for a main and dessert which is high by Nepal standards but cheap compared to Australia!

Food is overpriced with below expected quality and quantity of good for that price. The delivery of food was very late as well, had to wait more than 30 mins for 2 pasta dishes. Plus we asked for the bill few times but no one came with the bill. This place is to rip off tourists coming here as well as locals. I will never recommend this to anyone.

We had a great experience here. Great ambience, pleasant service and appetizing food. We tried assorted bruscheta, onion rings, pizza etc - all yum. The resturant also has great outside view.

We love the spot on their balcony! Great views on the busy corners of Thamel. Their coffee is very good (although a little pricey) and their pizzas are excellent!

Great pizza place! We had 3 pizzas and the doug was amazing: crispy and thin. We'll come back again. (the meat in Nepal is not the best So a veggie option will be best)

I have had lasagne and pizza here and it tasted pretty good. The Hawaiian pizza had plenty of pineapple and tasted amazing. The atmosphere is pretty nice and the choice of name is just fantastic.

Avoid! There's good Italian places in Thamel, this is a tourist ripoff
I was double-charged and stuff was added to my bill that was supposed to be included!
Food was very below average! I ordered a salmon steak which cost 1500 (lol) and it was dry and totally worthless
My bill ended up being 3K with no value whatsoever. I would never pay 30$ in Europe for that. What a joke.report this review -

A bit escape from the busy street, Dolce has a rooftop dining on the 3rd floor. Good atmosphere, great service, delicious food, which comes with a bit of a high price tag.

I was double charged by the restaurant. The manager denied this when I returned with a copy of my online statement and was a bit rude. The pizza was very tasty but the meat in the chicken pasta tasted a bit low-quality so we didn't eat it. Great atmosphere and wine list.
