A local resort run by enthusiastic local entrepreneur of Kirtipur. Probably pioneer resort in Kirtipur hill side. It's location at strategic point, from where we can have a panaromic view of Kathmandu valley from southern face with majestic view of Himalayas during winter season. I really love this resort.

The hotel is located in Kirtipur about 7km from Kathmandu Durbar Square. You can get easily to the center of Kathmandu by Taxi for about 400-500 RPs (negotiate with the driver until you get to the price).

The hotel is well-kept, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and we found the food to be very good. One day, we had some problems with hot water in the morning not being available, but I guess this is something that you have to accept if you come to Kathmandu.

Overall our stay (we stayed at the hotel for two weeks) was a very pleasant experience and I can only recommend the place. I went running with Ajaya Singh one morning (he showed me a great 10-12km route which avoids traffic as much as possible).

Next time, I come to Kathmandu, I will try to stay at this place again.

This is a great place to stay if you're looking for somewhere quieter than the bustle of Kathmandu. Behind the hotel you'll find historic Kirtipur, which is worth a visit, too. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, and their internet access is reliable. The chef is wonderful! Stop in for lunch and get a plate of mo-mos!
