The combined words Khichapokhari derively came as `Khe´ & `Chaa´ Pokhari; or Khey-Chaa-Pukhoo. In local dialect, `Khe´ means Face & `Chaa´ means Washing; or face-washing in the morning.
In the olden days, there was a pond in the spot where pious people cleanse their body. Nowadays some people wrongly imagine as stray Dogs might have used to stay or gathered around the then pond for food.report this review
