  ' Kechana kawal ' which is also known as the lowest place of nepal at the height 70 metres from the sea level.
  Satar , rajbanshi , bramhin ,chhetri etc are the local people living in this area whereas satar and rajbanshi peoples are indiginious people of this area . It is located at the east southern boarder of nepal in jhapa district . Agriculture and animal hudsbandari is the main occupation of the peoples living in this area .

  Nepal's highest point or elevation is Mt. Everest (8848 meters above sea level) whereas the lowest point (58 meters above sea level) is located at Kechana Kalan ( locally known as Kechan Kawal) in kechana Village Development committee of Jhapa District.
