Love the hippie/indie vibe the place gives as well as the peaceful place to relax. The prices are quite reasonable but the menu is a little limited.for me,but the people there are friendly and the orders don't take much time to serve. Other than that, getting a place to sit may be a little hard to get during rush hours.

Buckle up because this is a long one. I really don’t like writing negative reviews and honestly this is first I’ve ever written but I had an unsettling experience at this place today. Ive been a regular at this place for a few months now. Ive tried many of the things on the menu but occasionally when I am running low on cash I will just order milk coffee, which the menu you can pay what you want for it. So because I’m low on money I’ll usually pay a few rupees. I didn’t think I was doing anything bad, especially since at this point I’ve invested probably the Nepali rupee equivalent to $500 American dollars into this place, but the owner approached me today and said her “girls have been watching me” and they don’t appreciate how much money I put inside the chicken for the milk coffee. Fearing that I had offended her I immediately pull out 20 rupees and tried to give it to her so she could put it inside the chicken because I was rushing to leave (I had to teach a lesson upstairs in less than five minutes and I genuinely did not have time for this)She snipped at me and said “No! I don’t want you to pay me. I want to ask you why you only pay what you pay?” She did this in front of my co-workers and I was SO embarrassed. I felt that if it was really a problem how much money I (or anyone else) was putting in the chicken for the coffee that she could put a sign on the chicken that said something like “We appreciate you supporting our business, but please no less than ten rupees for our coffee” and be done with it. But interrogating a customer in front of her co-workers and letting her know that your employees spy on her when she has been a paying customer every weekend for months nowit’s just not great business practice. I’m honestly nervous to go back

At Moksha, what an ambiance ! It should be added in one of the must visits of Patan . It's nothing super fancy , it's just too grounded. And ofcourse the coffeethe best organic coffee and decently priced too. You can buy as well as shop there for coffee and other small creative products. So much fun.

Karma coffee is simple yet sophisticated place located at Jhamsikhel. The place has amazing lighting and seating arrangements is just perfect be it for individual, two or the group. Karma is one of the very few places which has been to become a hub for the youngsters.
The menu is completely differs from the other coffee place. The herbal tea is very soothing. Their Turkish coffee is a must try. They promote self service.
The cafe promotes the use of the products made in Nepal such as handicrafts and Nepal grown Coffee.

Some of the drinks are good, but I've had my share of bad experience here at Karma. The staffs are exceptionally polite with the foreigner, but the exact opposite with the locals. Nevertheless, it is a nice place to spend some quality time with friends, or alone for that matter.

Aside from having to walk up 4th floor, thier boutike coffee is worth all those steps. But then again its great that we are walking! The community bathroom was a slight problem for my guests. But again, a Great coffee!

Great place. Great coffee. Amazing concept of making use of recyclable goods. I am simply amazed and excited by this cafe. If you are a coffee lover make sure to visit for sure!
As said by the previous comment, yes it is a little hipster. But can't see a problem there, id give it a 4.8, not the 5 star yet imo.

They have some good pour over, happy that someone has finally started doing it. Their beans are a bit burnt and the place is a bit hipster grungy. The chocolate truffles are awesome!

Fell in love with this place right away, went there on Sunday and there were only a few people. They served good coffee and drinks. Downside is it's pretty noisy because of the nearby construction.

Casual hangout place for people. Good Nepali coffee in reasonable price. A place of art. You will love how things are arranged. Personally, I like the use of wine bottle for storing water.

Great ambiance. Good coffee. Not a huge selection and service isn't that great.but a cool place to hang out.
