One of the important destination for Traveller in Kirtipur town. This Monastery and Institute is famous for Kagyu lineage study. It is situated in West part of Kirtipur and environment is quite good. People can enjoy the place. Nice place for visit.

There is a friendly atmosphere in this small monastery up on the hill of Kirtipur where you can stay for a reasonable price and do your on practice or study. You get a nicely furnished room with attached toilet and a small balcony. No library though! Very simple food, but the town is near if you want to make your own choice. The monastery is connected to the new lineage of Shangpa Rinpoche.
