  Spent 17 days here in chitwan with the wonderful hospitality of Raju and his wife Seema. A life changing experience, getting to do some volunteer work with Elephants, feeding them and bathing them at the local river, even having the chance to ride on one. Time was also spent visiting other volunteer projects, including the local orphanage at Sauraha, where i had the privilege of meeting some of the most fantastic children, all of whom are here due to a background of poverty, abandonment or being orphaned after the recent earthquakes. I cannot speak highly enough of the work that Raju and Seema do to help these kids. The warmth and hospitality of everybody i met in Nepal was outstanding. People who have the least to offer will gladly share what they have without question. I stayed with the Sunar family and was thoroughly looked after with accomodation and amazing local food. Some time was spent visiting nearby places of interest; Buddhist temples, local markets, Wildlife tours and Chitwan nature reserve, where i got up close to a wild Asian one-horned rhino, guided expertly by Raju.
  People and a place that i will never forget.
