A few years ago (2013), I came here to participate in the ceremony of my acquaintance's relatives. It was a wonderful experience for me.
Especially voice sounds and music played by Lama monks was a feeling of getting into my mind. I want to listen again in this hall.response / report this review -

Lovely place to experience Tibetan monastery and life of Tibetan refugees camp. Monastery has every day prayer at 5am and 4pm which is nice to catch while 100 of them make prayer. Yellow building is acadimic site and temple itself is surrounded with monk's dormitory.

It's a small settlement of Tibetan refugees. You can get there by taxi from Lakeside for 400 to 500 rps. oneway. It has a big fabric workshop and the monastery. At 3:30 there' a prayer of Tibetan monks which was amazingly full of rhythm and musical instruments, which takes about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Monastère situé dans le village tibétain de TashiPalikhel. Venir pour 15 h, heure de la cérémonie. Belles peintures et tormas.
