Go in trust and realize your dream with iTour Nepal!
My experience with iTour Nepal was perfectly amazing.

I did start with the “Short Everest Trek” and pushed through Lobuche (10 days, Jan-Feb 2022). It was my first trek, and I am a solo woman traveler. If I hadn’t had to catch an international flight, I would have had continued for an additional week!

I have extensively traveled around the world hence I have a solid level of comparison and experience when it comes to agency, tour, guide, travel hiccups & marvels, etc.

In this trekking adventure, you have two central characters. Firstly, your travel agent and secondly your guide.

Firstly Rabi, your travel agent – the “Go-To person” from iTour Nepal, is extremely knowledgeable and an excellent communicator.
From the first day, I did contact him to consider doing the trek until the day I left Nepal he has been fully available to answer any queries and organize anything I needed even on very short notice. Rabi is extremely versatile and resilient. We did plan the itinerary together and he always had in mind a “plan B” if need be. Rabi supports you even for the tiniest details (packing checklist and last-minute Kathmandu shopping).
Rabi is genuinely comforting and reliable. Thanks to him, your travel can only be a success.

Secondly, the other protagonist leading to the success of your trip is your guide. I have had the blessing to be guided by Jit.
Jit welcomed me on the tarmac at Lukla airport on Day 1 and took care of me until Day 10 when he literally put me back in the plane heading to Katmandu. Jit is an experienced and knowledgeable Himalayan guide. He has always found the right balance between being present for me and sharing his knowledge of trekking, while also leaving me in my silent bubble while experiencing the magnificence of the Himalayas. Jit has never been intrusive, although he was always discreetly monitoring me (water intake, breathing/walking rhythm, checking for any altitude symptoms, etc.). He directly caught some of my daily routine elements and made sure every day I had those fulfilled so that I could feel somehow in a “comfort zone” which is precious when you are evolving in this extremely cold and unknown natural vastness (such as making sure I can charge my phone to call my husband every night, having enough hot water ready before bedtime to fill my hot water bags, hang prayer flags on the way, etc.).
What I have also highly appreciated is that Jit was always very instructive about where we were and where we were heading to. He was regularly updating me on our walking progress (remaining time until the next “tea and pee break”) and weather conditions. Jit did also help me to kind of “locate myself within the environment” as he was always using landmarks and teaching the names of the various mountains, rivers, peaks around us. He knew visiting monasteries and nunneries was so important for me and he always managed for me to have enough time to do so even if some days we were on a tight schedule due to weather conditions.

I will go back to Nepal, and I will solo trek again (we have already drafted the next itinerary with Jit!). I will do it with Rabi and Jit. No doubt. Go in trust and realize your dream trek with iTour Nepal!

Peri Betumla (see you again in Nepali)!

    Hi Rabi,
We have had a great time in Chitwan, including our 2 additional days. We ended up taking 2 private full day Safaris, a half day Safari, and a buffer zone Safari. All were great with guide Hari, and an extra guide and a driver. We saw everything we hoped for plus many bonus species like a leopard, and a fishing cat, and 2 sloth bears. 12 rhinos of all ages and lots of birds and reptiles. We highly recommend everything you set up for us and also the full day Safaris. Thanks for all your help, we leave on the bus for Pokhara tomorrow. Feel free to share our input with future guests.

I had a great experience with iTour Nepal. I contacted them the day before hoping to travel and Rabi responded to me immediately that it was no problem and he could make it work! He made sure to get everything in order very quickly and keep me in the loop, and even picked me up from my hostel and drove me to the bus station the next morning! I inquired about their sustainability practices and he sent me a detailed e-mail with their efforts for environmental and cultural sustainability. I was blown away by his dedication. I didn't have to worry about a thing during my tours with them. I joined a 4-day trek that had one other individual and that was a fantastic experience as well. Basanta and Nirmal (our guide and porter) were absolutely wonderful; I can easily say they made our trekking experience amazing! Unlike other porters that we saw along the trek, we always stuck together, and Basanta was always making sure we were having fun. He took care of our every need, from meals to beds to fun, and always ensured we were comfortable with the plan. He taught us so much about the mountains and Nepali culture along the trek as well. It was truly a pleasure to trek with them and I hope to do so again in the future!

Rabi and his team created a customized itinerary for our group of 10. Before the trip, they were quick to respond to emails and clear about expectations. During the trip, our guides were courteous, fun, and informative. They took care of every detail (permits, flights, cars, hotels, lodges), so that we could focus on enjoying the gorgeous scenery and on strengthening our friendships. Rabi went so far as to order a birthday cake for someone in our group and to help someone else reschedule a missed flight. I would absolutely tour with iTourNepal again!

We just returned from an incredible adventure with iTour Nepal. Rabi and his team did a great job of planning and executing a trek for our group of 10 women. Because of our limited time and desire to see Everest, Rabi was able to customize a trip for us the first week of December. We worried about it being too late in the season, but he assured us that it would be a great time to go and said that December had beautiful, clear mornings for the best views. And, let me tell you, the views did not disappoint!! We had a great time! Rabi and his assistant guide were so patient while we took a ridiculous amount of pictures and caught our breaths, while still gently moving us along as needed to stay on schedule. I can't recommend them enough. They even arrange to surprise me with cake for my birthday on our last dinner together! Always going the extra mile! I'd love to go back with my family and will definitely use Rabi again!
