Full of lies: don’t stay there

I lived in this hotel with my wife for one night. I booked the deluxe room through Expedia which costs ~NPR 3100. When I checked in they gave me standard room which is small and dirty. Then I informed the manager in the front dest (probably the younger brother of the owner) that I did not like the room. He asked me the reason and i told him I stayed with NPR 2800 in the Hotel Spring (3.5 star) two blocks away. I also added, in your hotel I booked the deluxe room and was expecting much better room since I am paying NPR 300 more. Then he checked my booking confirmation and changed my room from standard to deluxe and asked for a good review for that.

Their deluxe room is not better than the standard one but the size is little larger. I had to ask for water bottle and coffee. From now every single experience with this hotel was terrible. My wife went for shower and she waited 15 minutes opening the tap for hot water, but no sign of hot water. Then she came out of the shower and asked me to call the reception. But I found the phone is dead. I checked the connections to make sure the phone is connected. I walked downstairs and informed the reception that there is no hot water and the phone is dead. The manager informed me he will turn on hot water and need to wait for one hour. He also said he will come to fix the phone but he never came.

So, we went for dinner instead of shower. The temperature outside was below 10 degree Celsius and after dinner my wife was looking for remote control of the air conditioner to turn it on. Again shockingly there was no remote in the room. I walked downstairs again and brought a broken remote control they have. More surprisingly we found the air conditioner is dead too, no sign of power was there even we turn on/off all switches of the room. Their internet speed was below 1mbps for so many users and I could not log in to Gmail or Facebook. Their blanket was so cheap and thin and we had a terrible night there. Then we decided not to inform any more complains to the manager because they have problem in everything, we just decided to spent the night and leave in the very morning.

There was an ordinary breakfast in the morning where I found their knife was bent. The stuffs are not good in English or Hindi. I attached some pictures of the services.

Left the room keys for cleaning and after almost 2 hours you come back and see no change.
Very poor response when complained about dirty room and bed sheets.
    Personally advise not to go.

Stayed here four nights while in Pokhara. The service was great, the room was clean. They even set up a third bed in our room. The owner is lovely and happy to help. They can organise any activities you want to do, and can recommend things to see.
