Lovely Homestay in great location for exploring everything in and around this quaint, historic hillside town. Accommodation is very well appointed with great views and extremely clean. Family are wonderful and attentive. Couldn’t ask for more with great food and service/advice

I stayed here for 2 nights and felt like I was part of the family. They really look after you and will do their best to make sure you’re happy. I would stay again for just their breakfasts, they were delicious!

Run by an extremely friendly and welcoming family, Horizon Homestay provides comfortable rooms and great food. Tansen is an interesting town and there are nice walks around within the town and outside of it. It is definitely recommended!

It was an awesome stay there. The family made my stay in Tansen so wonderful and memorable. The room was quite spacious and very clean. I love sitting on the balcony overlooking the city with delicious breakfast and tea. The owner showed me the best spot to take a view of Tansen and range of Himalaya mountains early in the morning before sunrise, which was an amazing experience. I will definetly recommend you guys to stay here while visiting Tansen. Thank you very much.

We were very disappointed. We got the small cold room without view (during the cold season) for the same price as the room with attached bathroom and a view. They asked us not to wash our cloths ourselves, but they offered a laundry service, so we agreed to use that. Our clothes returned back still soaked and the price first offered nearly doubled even after reduction of the extra 100 rupee they tried to charge us. At the end they had double booked our room and we simply had to move. This was only told us the evening before. Overall we were very unhappy and felt like it was all just about the money.

I've stayed here about a month ago (sorry for my late review!) and it was everything and more. I felt at home immediately and decided to come back a week later. Everything is super clean, they provide a good breakfast and the view is amazing. Janaki walked with us to view point to see the Himalayah before sunset and it was so breathtaking. I would come back any time when visiting Tansen. It's not possible to find a better place than this. Thanks again for your love and kindness!

Amazing stay! The homestay is tucked away down a walkway, it's quiet at night and overlooks the city and surrounding mountains - They don't call it Horizon Homestay for no reason! This wonderful family make you feel right at home with a welcome masala tea, traditional blessing, and tips for the area of Tansen. We ate dinner together, and had breakfast on the balcony in the morning over a delicious coffee. The rooms are clean, comfortable, warm and have hot showers and a western toilet available. Thank you Dhani and family :)

Wonderful "Homestay" (more like a guest house) very friendly, wise owner who is also running it as Tourist office. I stayed there two days. Definately recommended for backpackers
