  My friend and I went on the EBC trek organised by Chandra at Himalaya Guide Nepal in April 2018 and I would have to say that it was one of, if not the best, trip of my life.
  Right from the start when I contacted him via email Chandra was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any concerns or questions we had.
  It goes without saying that the scenery on the EBC is unbelievable, but our guide Nurbu and porter Lakpa made the whole experience even better, taking care of absolutely everything and making us feel very welcome throughout the whole 12 days on trail.
  Nurbu was was extremely informative, very patient (especially with my friend, who was rather slow) and most of all great fun to be with. We looked forward to his nightly briefing with eager anticipation!
  Everything ran like clockwork, with breaks, meal times and teahouses seamlessly organised so that we never had to worry about a thing the whole trek.
  The only problem we had was with flights in and out of Lukla (we ended up paying extra for helicopter trips due to time constraints), but even then Chandra organised a full refund for our cancelled plane flights with no questions asked.
  Then when we got back to Katmandu, Chandra took care of us once more, checking to see if we were ok and taking us for a celebration dinner.
  What made it more special were the little extra touches, the fresh fruit after dinner each night, the plaque presented to us upon completion and the silk scarf given to us as we left for the airport after an exhausting, but highly enjoyable 15-day trip.
  It was a superb all-round experience and hence, I would highly recommend Himalaya Guide Nepal to anyone wishing to trek the EBC or any other route in Nepal.

  We used Chandra’s company for our Annapurna circuit trek. The service was fantastic. Our guide, Ramesh was a very helpful and knowledgable guide. He organised all of our accommodation and admin throughout the trip and made everything very easy and smooth for us.
  I would highly recommend this company if you’re planning to trek in Nepal. We hope to come back again soon for another trek. Thank you!

  My husband and I had a wonderful Annapurna Circuit Trek with this company. Although fit and healthy, both of us were over sixty years old and had concerns about our ability to complete this trek. Himalaya Guide Nepal inspired confidence from our very first e-mail. They tailor made this trek especially for us, factoring extra days at our request, just in case either of us suffered from altitude sickness , fortunately we didn't. Ramesh our guide and our porter Birsing looked after us from day one, ensuring we were safe and well cared for at all times. They made the trek fun and informative. We felt totally immersed in the local Nepalese culture. If you are looking for a local, English speaking company who will value your safety and help make your trek an amazing experience to remember, then this is the company for you.

  A friend of mine and me booked our Annapurna Circuit directly after we arrived in Kathmandu. Thanks to very good reviews n Google we directly arranged an appointment with Shandra from Himalaya Guide. For the following 16 days we had a great experience especially thanks to our guide Pratap!!! Pratrap was a great support, guide, planner, host and in the end a very good friend who finally brought us over the Thorong La pass. We are very happy. Currently we already plan our next trip to the ABC. All thumps up.
