A bit crowded and alot of rubbish
Was great almost died
Beautiful historical graveyard. Unfortunately, can’t rate it 5 stars since it’s inappropriate.
Some people will tell you Olympus Mons is better but they’re wrong. This is the biggest above water mountain on Earth and it’s everything you’d want from that. It’s got awe inspiring views, climbing opportunities, rocks, and frozen things.
Plus you can climb the to the top without a 280lb space suit needed to scale Olympus Mons.
Ice toy created by let them make famous, the things which was I remember my trip, whenever i saw the picture, this was the fantastic track I’ve ever been there #letsguide
Was great up until my friend fell to his death. 4.5/5 would recommend to a friend
A little technical for the average man but as a big man like myself and a pro mountain critic I would recommend if you are up to the task of almost dying every 10 seconds the food up there has some room to grow and the wall paper is peeling in the corner even though on the brochure it said "State of the art rooms" the heat broke after 10 minutes after using it and the wake up calls are always 10 minutes late. I enjoyed my time except for the very limited hot water.
YO man my frind died her lik damn i mis gorge he was a goud man rip
Named as per incident occured during the expedition of that british team lead by colonel Hunt . Hilary and Norgay met a steep snowy rock face and after few hours effort they get the way to climb the summit.
Salam hilary salam Norgay..
Beautiful place to find best of the Everest view .
But lots of things lacking here
1. No good internet or Wi-Fi
2. Poorly conducted restaurents lacking fresh and healthy food
3. Everything expensive due to location
4. Transportation and communication services are poor
5. Poor waste management.
I. climbed it in about 10 minutes. I lost my leg half way up and didn't have an oxygen tank. I also poked my eye out and kept that and my leg as a souvenir. It was -10,000F and no fast food places along the climb. There was these weird Indian people with goat things helping me with my climb for no reason. I wanted to kill them but I had now way to. They avoided the water out of my eyes. uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
According to all known laws
of aviation,
there is no way a bee
should be able to fly.
Its wings are too small to get
its fat little body off the ground.
The bee, of course, flies anyway
because bees don't care
what humans think is impossible.
A nearly vertical rock face with a height of around 12 metres (39 ft) located high on Mt Everest. It is located halfway between the "South Summit" and the true summit, and is the last real challenge before reaching the top of the mountain via the southeast route. Named after Sir Edmund Hillary, one of the first summiter along with Tenjing Norgay Sherpa.
This is the symbol of friendship with india and nepal .
Beautiful place but shame there's no decent WiFi not even good enough to load Facebook
Seems like a cozy place
Seeing people here complain about bad WiFi and the place being crowded has got me worried.
Hotel sounds good. I expect valet to be responsible if i am taking my Suzuki Mehran "Boss" up there.
I was pretty damn cold up, there was no McDonald's.. And not Surrey molik.. But u like it.
Even I didn't went there but in reality it seems an Amazing and awesome place
The buffet was all cold food with nothing hot available. I didn't appreciate all the wind, it made talking on my phone very difficult. I blew out a flip flop half way up the Khumbo Icefall and again while crossing the Geneva Spur. I brought my RZR along but it ran out of gas in base camp and I couldn't find a gas station anywhere. I also found it very difficult to play horseshoes in camp. The damn things kept ricocheting all over the place and one of the shoes shattered in the cold. Overall it was a nice vacation spot though but just a bit too crowded for me.
Great view, but I wish Nepal would adopt a variation of the American Disabilities Act. Please install ramp.
A little crowded when we got there, but it was a nice sunny day, so we were lucky. After all the effort put into getting there, I did not mind the wait. Real sense of history, thinking back to when Hilary and Tenzing had to do this with no assistance. They were the pioneers. We simply get to follow in their footsteps.
Usually crowded, had to wait in the queue for too long. Nice view though.
Although parking was hard to find, once I found a spot the walk was worth it for the AMAZING ice cream!!
It was pretty damn cold up there, there was no mcdonalds, I wanted my morning mc nuggets, also my sherpa fell off lmao
The gut truck here gave me diarrhea, but the price was hard to beat given its remoteness, and the food was delicious despite the aftermath.
I'm going to have to agree with Mike, our heroic climb through the jungle of Mount Everest was climaxed with a warm falafel, had it been a taco there would have been more stars
