The now known as Gorkha Museum was a Royal Palace of shah dynasty and was built in 17th century during the reign of King Ram Shah. The place has been attraction to both domestic and international tourist in recent days. In addition to being a Museum, it offers a chance for sharing cultural values from 17th century.

The architect of this museum is challanging for the new comers engineer. Its take not only history of Gorkha people its take a history of Prithivi Naryan saha and modern United Nepal.
