A lot of books of all genres are available here, including textbooks and stationery. They have ample parking space and a new cafe for customers to chill and grab some bit and drinks while getting hooked on your favorite book. Staffs atcthe bookstore and cafe are very helpful. It's probably the best bookstore in the country.

I love the fact you can go up to different floors to find books and they have a huge collection.
I even found myself a Hayao Miyazaki one which was amazing !

OMG… I have been here in kathmandu for quiet sometime but had never ever imagine such an amazing book store exists here. This is one stop shop for book lovers. Store has everything books, novels, toys, academic books and even some different stationery supplies. I’m going to visit this place often now.

This is an awesome place for a book bug. Everything that is fancy or you have heard or seen on television to everything that you want and cheap but effective EKTA books own publications are here. The calm environment, and all book lovers, even if you are out of habit of reading books because of the handheld devices we have, this place inspires that soul in you to rise from its grave and start reading.
Apart from books, the services and the staff and their attitude is in par with books they have, professional very professional.

This place has been in the town since a very long time and I must tell you, they sell the finest books in town.However,when you go to this place , buying a few books might empty your pockets.

One of the largest collection of Books and stationeries.
If you are looking for a new book released abroad that could not be found elsewhere in Kathmandu, you can expect it in Ekta Books Distributor. If you are looking for a rare bit globally famous title, then, it is definitely one of places where you can expect it.
But, Ekta Books Distributor does not normally give discounts or concession on book price. Also, I have never heard that Ekta ever offered any books or series on Discount or stock clearance sales.report this review -

The best bookstore in town..huge collection of books to choose from..a pile of books makes you confused..it will be great if you had a computer in every flat including all the record of books and gives the shelf number and location of the book and all its detailsdifficult and time consuming to go through all the booksgreat place to be for book lovers
