Highly satisfied with the excellent service provider by Eastern Light Trek.
From months before my arival in Nepal they helped me plan my treks (Annapurna + Upper Mustang) and provided an answer to all (my many) questions.
They had the most experienced, helpfull and funny guide join me.
Also afterwards they were concerned about my wellbeing (was there during corona lockdown) and helpfull in providing useful information.

Had a great time in Nepal, thanks to this agency.
Would not choose another if back in Nepal

Dev, the owner, is honest, responsive and provides services at a fair price. I sent an email and he responded Right away with transparent and complete information. I only had a week to track and he gave me a couple options and made a recommendation. He recommended the tour that was less expensive but felt like I would enjoy more. In addition he was glad to help me with other tours that he wasn’t booking or with hotel and flight arrangements. The hotel(Hotel Karuna)he recommended was amazing and I ended up staying here another week after my trek
I came in the off season so the weather was good not great. My guide and I went to the high camp but because of bad weather in the morning we were going to go to the base camp, he suggested another route to Kalimati. It ended up being a nice alternative. I

We went in for advice on our trek and Dev helped tailor it to exactly what we wanted. His breadth of knowledge was impressive and there was no pressure from him to book anything. He gave us some really cool tips to add in on our trek and it was more than worth it. He is so incredibly friendly and helpful, we came back after the trek to book our Everest flight. Highly recommend.

Two of us paid 7,000 NPR for a private jeep to Salleri and ended up in a jeep with thirteen other people (and we did a bunch of the jeep owner's errands on the way). When we returned from our trek and asked for a refund of 4,000 NPR (the difference in price between a private and shared jeep) we were offered 900 NPR because "the driver wasn't going to give back any money". After arguing for thirty minutes we were finally given 3,000 NPR and were told "here, now you're happy and you can go drink your beer". Incredibly unprofessional. It's easy to get five-star reviews when everything goes well but it's when things go wrong that customer service really matters. Would absolutely not recommend.

I'm not normally one to write reviews, but the service we got from Eastern Light was so exceptional, i had to write one. Look no further than this company to rely on to give you the best and most comfortable experience. Dev was helping us out with each tiny step even before we travelled to Nepal, we'd call him if we had the tiniest questions, he'd send us emails and lists of items that would help, call us to check on us, and even picked us up from the airport.
During the trek, the Eastern Light personnel treated us like family. They took care of our very last need, including getting us data for our phones. Not only was their help during the trek, but they also helped us book all our other adventures. If I go back to Pokhara, which I will, I would not hesitate going back to them.

This is a long overdue review, but I’ve been long meaning to write. I went trekking with my friend to Annapurna Base Camp last March, and Eastern Light sorted out all the transport, bookings and permits for us. The people in their office were very friendly and they know all there is about Pokhara, the Annapurna region, and trekking, so if you need any help, just go straight to them!

We trekked for 8 days with our fantastic guide, Karna. Aside from arranging all the details of our trek, he took care of us and always made sure we were safe. I don’t think that we could ever have finished the trek without him!:) He was also very cheerful and encouraging, and spoke good english. I learned so much about the Annapurna region, trekking, and Nepalese culture (and music!) because we were sharing stories all throughout the trek. I highly recommend him as a guide!

We just had an incredible trek on the Annapurna Circuit! We hired our porter/guide through Eastern Light and they were fantastic. They were so informative and professional. Our porter/guide Camal was awesome! I highly recommend this company and Camal if you are looking to do trekking anywhere Nepali Himalayas.
