We have stayed over there during our jungle safari. We were impressed with their service and organic food. I like to refer for jungle safari, wildbird watching, jungle adventure. you feel like you are in home.

5 star service under 5 billions stars sky
Vishnu (owner) has helped us a lot during our stay. He always gave us genuine advice and yummy food.
Why to stay here
1 - You are living right in the middle of the jungle
2 - 100% organic food V/ n.veg, candle night dinner in open sky, fresh honey
3 - You are staying under a billion stars & the sound of different birds 24x7 is gonna win your heart.
4 - Vishnu will organise your jungle safari, elephant ride & bathe, Jungle walk, Sunset point. All at very reasonable price than offered elsewhere in town. He was transparent with price charged and his commission which made his package special.
5 - Affordable price. Got a room in $10 :)
6 - Property is located next to Meghauli Airport and about 10mins from Taj.
7 - This property has been run by his previous generations and they have maintained all the 3x Guest books which has remarkable inputs from one of the greatest explorers, bird watchers, brits and americans.
Recommended - Try to stay for least 2-3 nights so you can enjoy all the jungle activities which are worth it.
Caution - Since you are in jungle, you can expect lizard, spiders & worms in every hotel. I happened to found a higher number of lizards in Taj with less spiders.
Chital lodge will provide you mosquito nets wrapped on all sides from your mattress in all rooms to keep insects away.
I also had a chance to visit Taj Safari hotel nearby and I would choose Chital Lodge again fairly because of $250 vs $10.
Vishnu made our trip memorable and was available at all times for service.

Room Tip: Pick the new cottages with cement walls instead of wooden walls to avoid any insects in room.
