Place to hangout for drinks and hukkas, didn't like the food. But there's always a good crowd, even on Mondays and Tuesdays! Good price, funky interior!

Good cozy place to hang out with friends or watch football. There is no parking as expected since it is Thamel area which is a downside for those who travel with cars. However there is a paid parking at entrance of Thamel which is only 6 minutes walk from the bar.
The food is good and prices are fair for the location. I did not like that the washroom for gents is a floor below which is very inconvenient when you are drunk. The stairs are also not that drunk-friendly 😂
All in all, I would recommend going there at least once and try if you like the place yourself.response / report this review -

You expensive, especially for tourists. Check out PhatKath, cheaper, brighter atmosphere. BBAR is nice for quite, more intimate scene

Awsome hangout in Thamel. The old place is preserved really well, and the excellent staff make sure that you get a good experience consistently. A perfect place to be when you're not really in the mood to go clubbing, and just want to spend some time chilling and drinking.

Buddha bar is perfect place to be if yoy are cocktail lover as well as you can find different variety of nepali beer as well as different imported whisky. In addition they serve different kind of sisha like mind double apple pan masala as well as mixed. Its cool to be here as it serve from early morning from 8 - 12pm. Regarding snaacks and food its good as well but mostly for hanging out drinks is best.

Cheesy ping pong show music that you would hear at a sketchy club in Thailand.
The drinks are mediocre.
The atmosphere is on point.
Can't talk bad about the food cause I didn't try any.
