This is where you find peace. The Stupa is really beautiful and the surrounding shops and restaurants are awesome as well. Perfect place to come alone and relax.

Important to see while in Kathmandu. If you see through the commercial tourist traps around you will sense the beauty of the place. Apart from the central structure it is also worth checking out some of the surrounding monasteries.

Beautiful to see, but the spirituality has been gone long time ago. I feel very sad for all the monks and real believers!
A perfect place to show the discrimination on tourists.
PS: before paying 400 Rs, there is different other ways where you can go inside for free!!!!

This massive mandala is one of the biggest spherical temples in Nepal. It probably is one of the largest in the world too. Even though is it a sacred place among the buddhists, this place is liked by all sorts of tourists as well. There are many restaurants around the sphere as well as small shops of arts and crafts and jewelries of stones and beads.

An amazingly peaceful place. One can climb up the stairs to have a good look around the temple. The little shops around the temple offer accessories and other things related to Buddhism.

A Spiritual Place. Believe to be built with a million dewdrops when the valley was reeling under acute water shortage for years. Recently rebuilt with local initiative and donation after great 2015 Earthquake. We love to go there especially for a coffee by the Stupa.
