  This is the temple for Hindu-god Bhairav. The statue's face is covered for a reason. There's this legend that the person who sees this incarnation of Bhairav, namely Kaal-Bhairav, doesn't leave of Palpa alive. I don't know if the legends are true or not, but I'm not keen on finding it out. Also, the offerings of the Roti like food (called Rote) tastes awesome. The place is awesome and it also has a free wi-fi which is really fast. I saw a guy play PUBG through the Temple's internet.

  Nice place to visit,It is about 9 KM west from Palpa North of Butwal, a small eastward spur of the Siddhartha Highway doubles back . Pratap Sumsher Rana constructed Bhairavsthan temple in Palpa.It has biggest trishul (trident) in Asia.Mainly from hindus people sacrifice the many animals such as goats,pigs.in the occasion of navadurga.
