  I was introduced to Begnas Royal Camp when I won a free stay at a Valentine’s Day event at Marcopolo Restaurant in Thamel, Nepal. I was intrigued because it was run by the same operation, and Marcopolo is well-known in Kathmandu. I was able to connect with their booking staff on the website quickly (you can also reserve a room at Marcopolo Restaurant), and they had me booked the next night. I visited with my partner, and we enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. The farm-to-table food was excellent (the staff was trained in Kathmandu) and the tent itself was so comfortable. It’s a hotel room in a glamping tent. Fascinating and so comfortable and luxurious feeling. The bathroom is really nice, and has hot water. The view of Begnas Lake is unbelievable. You are on a bluff looking over the lake. It was truly magical. There are really cool hiking trails, and some cool bars and cafes within walking distance (you MUST check out Tropic Lake Rest). I highly recommend coming here for a few days if you are ever visiting Pokhara. Begnas Lake is a hidden gem. So relaxing and unbelievable beautiful.

  Dont miss to explore other side of Begnas.

  It's a built in camping site with amazing views such as stunning sunrise, majesty Annapurna mountain, peaceful begnas lake and beautiful hills. It's not too far from city. There are short trails to begnas lake or longer trails to Annapurna view point .Activities to name few like boating, fishing and also barbeque are also available. And the tenst are spacious with attached toilet n bathroom, hot water for shower, warm beds and overall a luxurious hotel room😉 with Nepali traditional essence. Lastly, thank you all the staff members for making our two night stay so memorable with your great hospitality.

  Great view on Hymalayan snow tops, good food and peaceful rest. Convenient location not too far from Pokhara, lake and walking paths. I would love to come back there again sometime.
