This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at during my trip in Nepal. The infrastructure, the ambience and most importantly the service, all are on par. The staff is courteous and they welcome you with a tika and flowers.

We spent a total of 2 nights in Altithi Resort and Spa Hotel Pokhara, which is a truly beautiful city. We found the rooms comfortable, quiet and well serviced and had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Food quality was excellent and I would not hesitate to stay there again in future.

A warm welcome from friendly and professional staff was the beginning of a very pleasant stay. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. And only a short stroll to the lake.

I have not stayed the night here but keeps visiting while facilitating my guiding services to the customers. It is interesting nice cozy place. So far I see rooms are nice and beds are comfortable too.

They have pool, possibly spa also. In a clear day from hotel premises mountains can be seen also.

I believe, if anyone chose this hotel they will be happy selecting.

    Thank you.

This a very comfortable hotel. The rooms are plenty of space, comfortable beds and bath tub in every room. You are very well received and they are all very kind. Complete and delicious Breakfast, but be aware of the spice.

Atithi might be a good hotel, but it is by no means a good 'resort' and 'spa'. Lacklustre design, a small pool and average F&B are only salvaged by large and clean rooms and a central-but-quiet location. It is not the greatest value for money proposition.

This is one disappointing even disgusting hotel. They are a shame of the nepalesse people. There are legitimate reasons. Due to my outdoor activity schedule change, I was unable to stay at the hotel although the room was prepaid, but the hotel refused to give any refund or let me stay after returning from hiking, which they would not loose any money from a kind gesture. It was over $90 per night! I called the headquarter in Kathmandu and still the owner refused to make an effort. Then later while I was at the hotel room, the hotel staff entered the room without knocking and used their own keycard to enter. Twice in a roll. Once I was in the bathroom and didn't close the bathroom door, the other time I was taking a shower and came out naked while the guy was entering the room. I called the front desk to complain when the first time happened, they didn't care. Later I bumped into the guy down the hall, he had a very offensive expression on his face. The front desk didn't bother to apologize to me in person despite I was very polite to them and passing by the front desk many times. Lastly, very early in the morning I needed to get to the airport and my luggage was heavy, I was exhausted from the hiking, and the hotel was far from the main road, so I asked the front desk to call a taxi for me. It is already terrible that this expensive hotel in Pokhara who categorized themselves as a high -end deluxe resort and spa, didn't have their own free shuttle service. The front desk charged 700 rupees without letting me question or negotiate the price, a hotel employee took the money into his own pocket and took me to the airport. I was basically forced to accept the price by a woman at the front desk, dressing in the local custume. She seemed polite and smiled and all those things, but very insincere and brazen, charging guests with unreasonable prices and providing poor service like they were totally entitled to, and the guests didn't have a say in it. Her smile made me sick. It was the only and last time I stayed at the hotel, although I was in and out of Pokhara quite often since. By the way, there is a review with one star as well, the poor fellow lost his hotel reservation money due to the weather and cancellation of flights for two days. The following reply from the owner was ultimately unkind, as if all of his guests should have had the ability to forsee the future and might as well had a big fat bank account, and once many of us didn't have those, we were not even allowed to pamper ourselves a little bit on a vacation by making a "non-refundable" room reservation in a resort in order to save a little of our hard-earned money. Moreover, if a hotel can't bear to have bad comments, keep showing greediness and cruelty, talking back their unsatisfying guest who has a rightful cause, then it won't expect consistent good comments from guests, or returning guests. If the hotel is so keen on making money and doesn't want to deal with their guests' problems which are not within their control, why not just cancel the "non-refundable" booking option? Isn't that quite hypocritic by the way the hotel handling comments not up to their appetite? The world is round. It is a freebie for you, hotel owner and the staff.

Unbelievable location. The hotel is back in a little cove almost, and away from the main road. Because it's away from traffic, it is SO quiet! First night ever was amazing. Slept like a baby all night and partway through the morning lol. Close to lots of tourist-ey shops and westernized restaurants (I speak as an American citizen who resides in Kathmandu, and has been on site for 4 years. Needless to say, I know where the ritz is in this country). Himalayan Java is literally right around the corner, so coffee is obviously going to be consumed every day. lol

Beautiful hotel. Perfect location. Incredible views. Good food. What more could you ask for? Now go book a room and live like a king for a week.
