This temple is one of the holy place in nepal. It is also known as the eastern PASHUPATINATH. It is believed that once pandavas visited this place with their cattles and to feed their cattles with water one of the pandavas (arjun) bowed an arrow and he germinated water. Since then here is availability of spring water.
