  This temple is one of the holy place in nepal. It is also known as the eastern PASHUPATINATH. It is believed that once pandavas visited this place with their cattles and to feed their cattles with water one of the pandavas (arjun) bowed an arrow and he germinated water. Since then here is availability of spring water.

  Holey place from Mahabharat time, and name Arjundhara plased being relation with Kuntiputra Arjun, one of five pandabha.The pond infront of temple was made by Arjun using his devine powered bow named Gandiva that was given to him by Baruna Deva.
