Clean and friendly staff. Only complaint is difficult to find when coming from out of country without a cellphone. Besides this everything was perfect.

I took a group of five journalism students from Australia on an immersion experience to Nepal in late May. We stayed at the Alliance Hotel in Boudha, Kathmandu.
Despite their really difficult conditions as a result of the 2015 earthquake, the hotel staff and the manager, Bishnu Pandey, made our stay such a pleasant experience. Their contagious smiles and positive outlook on life generally, as well as a genuine interest to do the best for their guests made us think about what we should value more in life - make do with what we have and be content or chase after material trappings that can be out of reach.
